Article: Dara Mourns Over Won Bin Being Taken Off The Market?

There are bound to be sad fangirls everywhere as it sinks in that heartthrob actorWon Bin is no longer an eligible bachelor after the recent confirmation of his relationship status with the gorgeous actress Lee Na Young.

 One of those fangirls is 2NE1‘s Dara, who has previously mentioned her love for the actor since way back! Seemingly in response to the current situation, the idol tweeted the photo above.

Although this tweet could be interpreted in many different ways, most fans seem to agree that it was in response to Won Bin’s dating news, especially due to the hashtags about moving on and staying strong – bringing sympathy as well as chuckles from fellow fangirls.

 Hopefully Dara can console her saddened heart to “stay strong” and “move on” to return with the rest of her members to sing “Falling In Love“, ironically, next week on July 8th!

One of the girl groups with the strongest sound source power, 2NE1 decides to televise the staged performance prior to the release of sound source.

On 7th, 2NE1 will perform a full-scale comeback stage on SBS ‘Inkigayo’, a day before the release of their new song ‘Falling In Love‘.

2NE1‘s such strategy of performing a stage before the release is not unprecedented, however, it is unprecedented for a group like 2NE1 who records successful achievements immediately after song releases to make such a decision.

In fact, many in the music industry awaited 2NE1‘s comeback performance. Many thought that 2NE1‘s comeback performance will naturally follow the delay as they announced the delay of sound source release from the first week of July to 8th this month. Many also wondered how 2NE1 will carry on with their comeback stage as the announcement of this year’s first quarter results were to take place in ‘The Music Trend’ that very week.

It seems that 2NE1 is confident in nailing sound source sites with their strong sound source power even if the release comes after their performance through ‘The Music Trend’ on July 7th.

The new song will be 2NE1‘s first song in a year after last year’s trot-style ‘I Love You‘. Introducing a reggae-style music this time, 2NE1 has been preparing for this performance with the help of  a foreign choreographer for a new level of performance. They also plan to show up more actively on screen and stages this time.

However, this song will not mark the end of 2NE1‘s career this year. Their plan is to release one song at a time every month until October. As this was a long time no see for their fans, they have come up with a plan to target music charts once every month and to show up for a longer time period for their fans.

Yang Hyun Suk commented “Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule including world tours, 2NE1, who has continued their music career constantly since their debut, only managed to release one single ‘I Love You’ last year. I always hoped they had been more active in the domestic arena. So, we have come to a conclusion that rather than releasing all songs at a time, which by the way required tireless efforts during the last two years, 2NE1 would continue a constant career in the domestic arena with releasing one song a month along with a music video.”

Article: Dara Reveals That CL Came to Save Her During the 9-Scale Japanese Earthquake

Dara revealed that CL isn’t 2NE1‘s leader just for show.

 On the July 2 episode of ‘Incarnation‘, Dara said, “Wherever 2NE1 went, all kinds of things happened. Two years ago in Japan, I was by myself when the scale-9 Tōhoku earthquake hit. I was on the 34th floor of a building. I was so scared. Usually, I just bear with it, but I was so scared that I crawled outside to ask for help. But no one was there.“

CL who was nearby when the earthquake occurred, added, “You could see the building walls cracking. The windows all shook, and the landline phones went dead.”

 Dara continued, “I called [on my cellphone], and CL picked up. I was in a panic, but she told me calmly to stay where I was, because she’s gonna come to get me. She really came to save me. The building was shaking, and we went down the 34 flights of stairs together.“

 CL explained, “I felt like even if we were to die, it’d be better to die together, so I went to look for her.”

Article: MCOUNTNDOWN performance in Indonesia cancelled due to ‘local circumstances’

The news came out earlier that Mcountdown performance in Indonesia has been cancelled.

[OSEN = Lee Hyerin Reporter] Mnet ‘M Countdown’ concert, which was scheduled for next week in Indonesia, was cancelled urgently.

‘MCountdown’ was scheduled to be a special concert in Jakarta, Indonesia, July 03, ‘MEIS (Mata Elang International Stadium)’, however on June 28th, due to local circumstances, the event director had to be cancel it in emergency. This overseas event had to be cancelled in just before 5 days.

This show has been focused on by many people for its K-POP performances. Last month, two of the show’s producers planned this event and said,”This year, the Korea-Indonesia’s relationship celebrated its 40th anniversary and got to build both countries’ love, calling the year ‘2013-Indonesia Friendship Year (2013 Korea-Indonesia Friendship Year), and Mcountdown was to broaden horizons of the 2 countries and was expected to be a significant contribution.

From last year, Mcountdown held a world tour that was ongoing in countries such as Japan, Thailand, and Taiwan, and this was supposed to be Indonesia’s 1st time.

The lineup was even wonderful. Idols such as Shinwha, 2NE1, 2PM, B2ST, MBLAQ, Sistar, Secret, Afterschool, B1A4, TeenTop, 4MINUTE, Roy Kim, and etc who were famous were supposed to attend.

‘Mcountdown’ Indonesia was also going to have cool collaborations with some local artists but sadly, they have to wait for the next opportunity.

2NE1’s Dara, also known as Sandara Park, showed her potential as an entertainer and make everyone laugh.
In SBS’s entertainment show, “Hwasin – Controller of the Heart,” aired on the 25th, Dara showed off a goofy and unique charm as a guest and made the emcees bend over in laughter with her stories and jokes.

In the show, Dara took out props that she had prepared herself and expressed her avid interest in entertainment shows. She had brought various props including signs that read “First-time entertainment show guest, be gentle” and “PASS” and a yellow card. She appealed directly to the emcees for more opportunities to participate in entertainment shows saying she dreamed of becoming an entertainment idol who would unleash her skills every time the TV was on.

She also asked Kim Gu-ra, Shin Dong-yeop, Kim Hee-sun and Bong Tae-gyu for tips on how to become a better entertainer.

As the show went on and Dara showed how funny she could be, viewers could see that her dream of becoming an entertainment idol was actually one that could be possible.

When explaining rumors that there was discord among 2NE1 members, she said, “I’m actually really shy. I’m even scared of knocking on other’s doors because I don’t want to wake them up.”

Dara was taken back when asked about rumors that she hated Lee Hyori. She was then told that she needed to answer questions like this to become a true entertainment idol. Dara proceeded to say, “Should I take a go for practice? The reason I hate Hyori..” But she couldn’t finish her sentence and the emcees burst out laughing.

The emcees praised Dara’s charming and funny skills and predicted that an entertainment idol was born that day.

Dara has not appeared in many entertainment shows until now and viewers welcomed her guest appearance that day. “We’ve discovered a true entertainer in the rough,” “Dara’s so cute and goofy at the same time. She’s make a great entertainment idol,” “I guess we’ll be seeing more of Dara on TV from now.”

Dara cleared up the rumors that 2NE1 don’t talk to each other much once the cameras go off.

 On the June 25th broadcast of SBS‘ ‘Incarnation‘, MC Kim Gu Ra wasn’t afraid to get to the root of the rumor and mentioned, “There is a rumor that the members of 2NE1 don’t talk to each other at all once the cameras go off”, to which Dara clarified, “It is 100% a misunderstanding.” 

  Dara explained, “Because I am a little shy and I prefer not to cause any inconvenience to others, I have trouble knocking [on my members’ doors] when I have something to say. I’m worried that they’ll wake up from their sleep so I even take the pans outside to hit them. When they’re in their rooms, I text them and ask them to come out for a bit. But when I meet them face-to-face, I talk a lot but I am uncomfortable with directly knocking on their doors or calling them.”

In response to the question, “So you don’t even knock to ask if anyone is in the bathroom?”, to which Dara replied, “That is why I wake up the earliest and use the bathroom first. Later in the day, I use the bathroom when no one else is around. They have to focus on going to the bathroom, but I worry that I will cause an inconvenience to them if I were to knock.”

 “I am comfortable with all of the members. But I am just more comfortable with texting them.”

2NE1 members, Sandara Park and CL would be appearing in SBS’s “Hwasin – Controller of the Heart,” today (June 25th), revealing their candid thoughts and memories.

It’s been a long time since Sandara Park and CL have been on any entertainment program, so they gave their frank thoughts on the matter.

Particularly, Sandara Park revealed, “In the past, After School’s UEE hurt me a bit,” she said, revealing a behind-the-scene story with UEE, to which singer, Lee Hyori, attested to the situation since she was also present during the time of filming.

In addition, MC Kim Goo-ra, remarked on CL‘s solo “Baddest Female”, and said, “There’s talk going around that president Yang Hyun Suk, shows favoritism towards CL among YG Family,” throwing the question, Sandara and also Lee Hyori, said, “President Yang Hyun Suk, does seem to have exceptional affection for CL,” they added. In the show, CL gives her candid opinions on being a favorite, and reveals some of the thoughts that President Yang Hyun Suk shared with her during their talks.

Sandara Park and CL‘s refreshing stories about themselves and 2NE1 will be revealed tonight, at 11:10 PM, on SBS “Hwasin.”
