2NE1 is raising expectations for their new song by releasing their teaser with its cool an refreshing image.

On the morning of July 4, YG Entertainment publicized a teaser image of 2NE1‘s new song “Falling in Love” on the company’s official blog YG Life.

The image contains the words “Inkigayo Comeback 7.7” and “To Be Released 7.8 0AM,” meaning that the song file would be released on July 8 at 12 a.m and seen on stage for the first time on July 7 on the SBS program Inkigayo.

In the teaser image, the members of 2NE1 are each showing off a cool summer look with the beach in the background, transforming themselves into “beach girls.”

Sandara Park, who caught the attention of many with her versatile hairstyles with each promotional activity, now appears with golden-haired pigtails to emphasize a fresh and cute side. 

Falling in Love” will show 2NE1 singing reggae for the first time since their debut. With today’s teaser in the open, attention is gathering on how 2NE1 will sing the genre and what kind of fashion and stage formation they will show.

2NE1 has completed filming for their “Falling in Love” music video, and are training for their comeback with a new choreographer from overseas.

One of the girl groups with the strongest sound source power, 2NE1 decides to televise the staged performance prior to the release of sound source.

On 7th, 2NE1 will perform a full-scale comeback stage on SBS ‘Inkigayo’, a day before the release of their new song ‘Falling In Love‘.

2NE1‘s such strategy of performing a stage before the release is not unprecedented, however, it is unprecedented for a group like 2NE1 who records successful achievements immediately after song releases to make such a decision.

In fact, many in the music industry awaited 2NE1‘s comeback performance. Many thought that 2NE1‘s comeback performance will naturally follow the delay as they announced the delay of sound source release from the first week of July to 8th this month. However, this song will not mark the end of 2NE1‘s career this year. Their plan is to release one song at a time every month until October. As this was a long time no see for their fans, they have come up with a plan to target music charts once every month and to show up for a longer time period for their fans.

Yang Hyun Suk commented “Unfortunately, due to a busy schedule including world tours, 2NE1, who has continued their music career constantly since their debut, only managed to release one single ‘I Love You’ last year. I always hoped they had been more active in the domestic arena. So, we have come to a conclusion that rather than releasing all songs at a time, which by the way required tireless efforts during the last two years, 2NE1 would continue a constant career in the domestic arena with releasing one song a month along with a music video.”

With rumors of discord between the 2NE1 members, Sandara Park decided to clear the air.

On June 25’s broadcast of SBS’ Incarnation, Sandara Park appeared as a guest with fellow member, CL.

There, MC Kim Gura asked about a rumor he’s heard about the 2NE1 members not getting along behind cameras.

“I heard you even text the members inside the dorms because you don’t want to talk to them,” said the MC.

“I have a very shy personality that I don’t like being a burden to another person,” said Sandara Park, denying the rumor. “Even if I have something to say, I can’t seem to knock on their doors, so I hit pots instead.”

She shared that she’s comfortable with all the members, but she just chooses to text.

“Once I meet them, I’m able to talk to them, but it’s just hard to knock on the door or call on the phone,” said Sandara Park, showing a bit of her 4D personality.

She even added that she doesn’t like knocking on the bathroom door, so she gets up early in the morning to use it first.

“I don’t want to knock and disturb anyone during a time when they should be focusing.”

It’s been a long time since Sandara Park and CL have been on any entertainment program, so they gave their frank thoughts on the matter.

Particularly, Sandara Park revealed, “In the past, After School’s UEE hurt me a bit,” she said, revealing a behind-the-scene story with UEE, to which singer, Lee Hyori, attested to the situation since she was also present during the time of filming.

In addition, MC Kim Goo-ra, remarked on CL‘s solo “Baddest Female”, and said, “There’s talk going around that president Yang Hyun Suk, shows favoritism towards CL among YG Family,” throwing the question, Sandara and also Lee Hyori, said, “President Yang Hyun Suk, does seem to have exceptional affection for CL,” they added. With 2NE1’s leader CL already wrapped up promotions for her solo single “The Baddest Female”, the whole group is now gearing up for their comeback in July.

2NE1 will begin filming for their first title song, “Falling In Love”, music video from June 24-26. The music video will be filmed in a full scale production and will be released in July.

According to Yang Hyun Suk’s previous post on ‘YG-Life’, 2NE1 will be promoting at least four tracks from July to October. The first title song “Falling In Love” will be released in early July and will be a reggae, an entirely new genre for 2NE1.

2NE1 created an Instagram account yesterday on June 22, and they already have a following of more than 47,000 (54,500 at time of publishing).

Following their announcement that they would feature new releases every month, 2NE1 created an Instagram account to boost their international fan numbers and raise anticipation for the upcoming songs and music videos.

They have only posted two photos so far, with promise of more to come. The two photos include a picture of Minzy, Dara, and Park Bom in ’91 jerseys with the caption “Good morning blackjacks!we back home!<pic by miss CL>,” and a picture of the whole band with Park Bom‘s face covered in a heart sticker and the caption “OPEN!! Where r all our blackjacks at!!! <Bom put the sticker herself>.”

Dara confirmed on her Twitter that this would be the official Instagram account for the four band members, and that they would take turns posting on it.

A member of hit K-Pop girl group 2NE1 and the new face of Seoul-based make-up label, Clio, Park slaps on some kohl “even on days when I don’t have an official schedule”. Now that’s something we can all take heed of. Ahead of 2NE1’s performance at tomorrow’s Asia Style Collection show at the Singapore Expo, we learnt more about Park’s beauty secrets and why she just can’t get enough of eyeliners. How do you keep your skin in tip-top condition?

Sandara Park: My beauty secret to achieving that rosy and fair complexion is to get a good night’s sleep. If you don’t have the luxury of sufficient sleep because of a packed schedule, use facial masks (to moisturise and brighten skin). Whenever I feel that my skin is becoming tired and dry, I will apply a sheet mask before bed every night for a whole week to replenish the moisture in my skin.

 

What’s the one make-up item that you can’t live without?

Eyeliner. Even when I don’t have an official schedule for the day, I still draw on eyeliner. I like making my eyes look clear and defined by filling in the spaces between my lashes with black eyeliner. I also love adding a winged tip. Nowadays, I prefer using Clio’s Gelpresso Waterproof Pencil Gel Liner to liquid liners because it’s so easy and convenient to use.

Sandara Park and Park Bom from 2NE1 fell into a deep sleep.

In the afternoon of 17th, Park Bom uploaded a picture on her Twitter account with a comment, “Napping..so hard (Dara&Bom).” They fell asleep on the floor of a filming set. 

They seems to be in a deep sleep with their eyes closed and with their makeup on. Sandara Park is covered with a blanket while Park Bom is just in a sleeveless shirt.

Meanwhile 2NE1 is expected to release a new song every month from July to October. This month, they try a reggae genre. In October they are set to release a mini album or their official second album consisting of the new songs.

On the 14th, Sandara Park updated her Twitter with, “While I was just waking up, Cheondoongie came home suddenly when my mother went out. He had just come in from a dry rehearsal, went back home to eat, and then said that he must head out once again… Hmmm…. I don’t know how to cook all that well yet, however!!! The menu is~ Fried eggs!” she revealed.

Continuing her tweet, Sandara Park said, “However!!! Cheondoongie was all worried and asked, “Are you including the shells in what you’re making?” Heol. It’s because one time in the past, I left behind tiny bits of the shell while I was cooking fried eggs. It was an honest mistake though, and I’m doing the best to my abilities today!!! Bonus, Vienna sausage!” adding more details.

After a while, she tweeted in addition, “Eldest sister’s fantastic meal is completed, served along with mother’s pre-prepared side dishes!!! But then Cheondoongie had two questions for me. “Did you forget to put salt in the eggs..?” “Is this completely done?” Such suspicions ㅋㅋ However, still took a bowl of rice and ate deliciously,” stating her happiness.
