Group 2NE1’s world tour poster has been revealed, showing the members’ unique costumes.
On the morning of the 26th, YG Entertainment uploaded the official poster of 2NE1‘s world tour, on its blog (yg-life.com). The unique personality and charm of each member that was shown in their costumes, caught the attention of netizens.
Leader CL had an unusual unicorn design splayed over her chest, giving off a different feel, while Gong Minzy wore a long dress which clung to her body, emphasizing the S-line. Park Bom wore an outfit with a lively print, giving off a cheerful appeal.
In particular, Sandara Park drew a lot of attention, with her hair extensions, which reminded netizens of the long bangs that Big Bang leader G-Dragon sported during the promotions for their 5th mini album. White hair extensions were attached to the side of her head, while she posed with a haughty expression on her face. It has been revealed that world fashion designer Jeremy Scott will be in charge of creating 2NE1‘s stage costume for the girl group’s upcoming 1st world tour.
2NE1 is set to hit the first stage of their world tour on July 28th at the Seoul Gymnastics Stadium as part of their “NEW EVOLUTION” tour, in which Jeremy Scott’s original designs for 2NE1 will be revealed. Jeremy Scott will also be responsible for 2NE1’s backup dancers costumes.
Face magazine has listed Jeremy Scott as one of the Top 31 people most influential in the world of fashion.
2NE1 has released a new concert promotional poster, along with solo images of CL and Park Bom, who are introducing Jeremy Scott’s 2012 Fall/Winter collection.
The popular YG Entertainment group are the first Korean girl group to have specially designed stage outfits for their tour by a worldwide respected fashion designer.
Joining Jeremy Scott in 2NE1’s global tour includes Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” choreography Travis Payne, Beyonce tour’s band leader Divinity Roxx, as well as Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” stage designer Michael Cotton.
Meanwhile, tickets for 2NE1’s Seoul concert opened on June 26th on G-Market. Tickets for 2NE1’s U.S. concert is also available for purchase on Ticketmaster for both the Newark and Los Angeles shows.
