‘Lonely’s a very captivating song and all the 2NE1 girls sang with so much emotions. They all sounded really great! Another hit from 2NE1! 🙂 And I love Dara’s parts in the song, I just wish they were longer but Goddess D definitely nailed it! Representative of YG Entertainment Yang Hyun Seok clarified that South Korean Girlgroup 2NE1 new song “Lonely” which will be put on the market this May 12th that this song, “Will have no autotune.”
Tuesday morning in YG Blog “Lonely” was revealed and said to be a, “Pop song with low tune composed only of stringed instruments such as the guitars, bases, and strings”, and clarified that, “the so called autotune will not be used at all.”
They lyrics of the song “Lonely” was mixed of solitude feelings and is produced by Teddy, the man behind the successful tunes of 2NE1 like ‘I Don’t Care’ and ‘Can’t Nobody’, the group’s main producer and always stays on their side. It is also the tune that Will.I.Am, who visits YG Entertainment, evaluated and says that, “It is refreshing,” and “Seems to become a big hit.”
Representaive said that, “Will.I.Am who was listening to the song said it was a fresh genre that differs from 2NE1 songs recently which have electronic and fast tempo that said to be the global trend of music, and the use of 100% point of analog sensibilities, so called autotune. And in this new song there’s no any.” Also revealed that it will be a hit because of the poisoned lyrics ‘Lonely, lonely, lonely…’ and its repeated melody.
However, 2NE1 is said not to promote this song in broadcasting shows. And Representative Yan Hyun Seok revealed, “We will resume broadcasting schedule to start by the new songs to be promoted and performed,” and said, “June 2 will be the release of the next song. June 23 is the expected date for the new mini-album to drop.”
