Today at #SugarMan, #ChoiJongYoon sunbae~!!! I also watched the movie #ThatPerhaps I know Park Bo Young’s certified song, I also talked and knew the people there and it’s quite a lot~ There were 3 compositions from sunbae, Choi Yong Joon! I first met him in a recording room, oh his songs are classic!!! 👏👏👏 It was really fun~ 😁 From now on, I’m planning to listen to his songs more!!! 2NE1 Wins PopCrush’s 2015 Battle of the Bands
After weeks of tireless voting and relentless social media campaigns, the winner of PopCrush’s Battle of the Bands has been crowned: Congratulations to K-Pop quartet 2NE1!
Let’s take a look back at their journey to the top, shall we?
2NE1 first faced off against fellow K-Pop group, Girls Generation, who proved to be formidable contenders. And while it was a tough race between the two, 2NE1 ultimately pulled through at the end, earning 50.78% of the votes, resulting in one of the closest margins throughout the length of this competition.
2NE1 were then thrown into the arena with X Factor-formed U.S. girl group Fifth Harmony. And while Fifth Harmony have their fair share of vocal and dedicated fans, they proved to be no match for 2NE1, who came out strong with 74.75% of votes.
Finally, 2NE1 faced off against One Direction, perhaps their toughest competition throughout our extensive Battle of the Bands competition. Both groups are known for their fervent fan bases, and a winner was never clear cut, as both groups inched past each other throughout the week.
But in the end, only one group could be crowned the winner, because that’s how polls work. And 2NE1 managed to surpass One Direction with 50.1% of votes (so close!), ultimately earning them the PopCrush Crown and all the prestige that comes with it.
So congratulations to 2NE1, and congratulations to all you fans who did the hard work. Your dedication, perseverance and constant page-refreshing helped earn your faves the title of Best Band!

News: ‘We Broke Up’ to screen in 21st Geneva International Film Festival
‘We Broke Up’ to screen in Geneva
CJE&M’s OnStyle and YG K-plus’ collaboration “We Broke Up” became the first Web-based Korean drama to be invited to the 21st Geneva International Film Festival.
The 10-episode program culminated in July, and as of Oct. 27, garnered over 16 million views online.
Its plot depicts the revival of love between a young couple who continue to live together even after breaking up.
2NE1 singer Sandara Park and WINNER’s Kang Seung-yoon, together with models Kang Seung-hyun and Jang Gi-yong, acted as main characters.
Producer Kim Gi-yoon expressed delight at receiving the invitation, and vowed to produce more quality Web dramas
This year’s GIFF will take place from Nov. 6 to 14. “We Broke Up” will be screened on Nov. 7 at 4:30 p.m. local time.

Seriously, this drama is fun and exciting and every minute is riveting~! Yeon Hwa, Nan Joo, and Eun Hye have accepted the offer to join as Miss Korea candidates! They are now preparing for the show with hilarious, but earnest, attempts.. ^^ I love how Dara’s acting is more natural in this web drama.. She did REALLY well and awesomely in Dr. Ian and We Broke Up, but I feel that her confidence in her talents and skills in acting is more pronounced this time around? ^^
Anyways, Jeong Hoon is captivated by Yeon Hwa’s smile, beauty, and attitude.. It’s so fun to see her being all stiff with her military bearing and hear her speak in North Korean twang.. ❤ Dara worked super hard, and it is now bearing fruit! Yay! ❤
