Okay, so I bet some of you guys (those who follow me on Twitter anyways XD) might have known this was coming. ^^ Gadaffi Ismael Sabi (@dafiismailsabri) is a Malaysian celebrity fanboy of Dara’s who I find really cute with his spazzing and all. XD Gadaffi, who is more known for his nickname, Dafi, born on December 14, 1988, is a singer/actor who got his break into Malaysia’s entertainment world when he participated in a reality TV talent show, Akademi Fantasia. He was tweeting in excitement on the evening of the 23rd, and went to watch Twin Towers Alive Concert in Malaysia, where 2NE1 performed in! Like all of us fans, specially the Blackjacks MY who were at the venue, he started tweeting even before 2NE1 came up on stage. He then went on to do a series of tweets calling Dara “darling” which I find really cute and endearing, kekeke!
He also uploaded pictures of the girls performing on his Instagram! These are the group shots that he uploaded:

Yoo Min Kyu was recently interviewed by MyDaily for his new movie, “Kisaragi Mikki Jjang,” where he plays the role of Iemoto, one of the five “uncle fans” or “otakus” who gathered together at the death of their idol, celebrity, Kisaragi Mikki. In the movie, Iemoto says “I am an encyclopedia when it comes to Mikki-chan.“ With his tall frame and handsome face, the interview delves on how Yoo Minkyu would carry out being someone who loves another so zealously and loyally in real life and how he would go about it as his character in the movie, Iemoto.
“I did worry over how to act as one of the leads, Iemoto. Being in film and theater gave me a solid foundation on acting, but how I would come out with this particular character had me a bit worried. I personally like Amanda Seyfried and Sandara Park. So while I was acting, I was thinking of them too.“
Basically, Yoo Min Kyu is worried over how to act as an ultimate fanboy of a celebrity, like his character in the movie is. So he thinks of Amanda and Dara, celebrities that he likes and then how he would act if he were going to be a full-blown, crazy-over-you, with encyclopedia-knowledge fanboy over them. He’s already a fanboy, well he considers himself a fan anyway, but can you imagine Yoo Min Kyu going all otaku over Dara?! Kekekeke! OMG I really think he’d make a cute otaku, buying her merch, albums, and all! He makes a cute fanboy, don’t you think? ^^

Actress Clara transforms completely into Sandara Park.
In the recent filming for the program, MBC Every1 “Singles2,” their three guests, Clara, Han So Young, and NS Yoon-G, will be shedding off their usual image and will transform into a funky-lovely-rock chic style, as the broadcast will delve into a “Special Make Over.”
On this particular shoot, Clara gained a lot of attention as she shared, “I’ve enjoyed trying out a wide variety of different styles, but I think that today’s transformation would be the most radical and unconventional. I can’t wait to see it,” she said, speaking of her smokey-eye make-up and colorful outfit. Significantly, she chose to be like 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, complete with trademark palm-tree hair.
Also, it is said that in this broadcast of “Singles2,” Clara showed that she is also a dancing queen, as she danced to 2NE1′s “I Am the Best,” showcasing her dance moves.
On the other hand, aside from Clara‘s transformation, Han So Young would be transforming into a rock-chic style, while NS Yoon-G would transform into a lovely lady in a dress with “cute play” charm.
The three celebrities’ transformations would be shown on “Singles2″ broadcast on March 11th, at 8:50PM., on MBC Every1.

Celebrities tend to have a great realm of influence, but it’s undeniable that idols are some of the most closely watched celebs in the business. So when idols go out of their way and do something other than sing, dance or entertain, the media (and the general public) notices.

YG Family
As mentioned earlier, Sean (one of our featured socialtainers) has had a very apparent influence on his fellow YG Family members.
As Sean is one of the founders of the ‘10,000 Won Miracle’ project, which collects funds to benefit disabled children, the charity has been featured at Big Bang’s concerts, while Se7en and 2NE1 and other YG members have all been featured promoting the project. YG also works closely with Kiehl’s, to design and sell cosmetics, the profits of which will go towards charities.
2NE1 and Gummy also joined hands with another beloved project of one of our socialtainers, Cha In Pyo, as the two participated in a Companion charity concert in Taean on February 23. 2NE1 previously performed in another Companion concert in Vietnam in 2012.
Most recently, 2NE1, Se7en and Sean all participated in the 2013 Severance Love Share Concert, which helps collect funds to help patients in need.
But lest you think the idols are simply using their well-promoted skills to help out, the YG family members also know how to get down and dirty.
The YG family members have helped out with the charity ‘Love Coal’, and distributed coal briquettes to keep unfortunate families warm in the winter and have often personally visited patients in hospitals.

The month of love – February – has been full of love for us Dara fans! It may not seem like we didn’t get much action this month (or for the past few months for that matter T_T) but if we take a closer look, we do have so many things to be thankful for! ^^ And here we go with our second monthly round-up!
First and foremost is Dara‘s gorgeous, flawless photoshoot for Elle Korea titled, “Say My Name,” which was perfection in its finest! YG Entertainment set us all in a frenzy when they announced that each of the 2NE1 girls would be featured in four differentmagazines. And oh what an awesome features it turned out to be! Each of the girls absolutely shined in
their respective magazine photoshoot and interview.
Dara’s magazine was Elle Korea. Elle is the world’s largest fashion magazine and one of the top 10 most popular Koraen fashion magazines. I felt really happy that Dara was featured in Elle. I know that I wasn’t the only one who positively gaped and had extremely ecstatic feels bordering on hysteric hyperventilation when I first saw her photos in the magazine. Dara was gorgeous. She had her hair in soft curls that was simply styled down, tumbling on her shoulders or in a loose ponytail; no crazy hairstyles this time. She had toned-down, barely-there make-up with a just the right shade of powder pink lipstick. Her clothes leaned towards neutral colors of white and brown, with a refreshing popout of blue and yellow, courtesy of her Fendi skirt. It’s really quite impossible to choose a favorite photo (Really, how can you choose between one shot of perfection to the other? It’s like forcing me to choose between the bass guitar and keyboards, both of which I truly love equally. T_T). But if you really have to make me choose (like if my life depended on it or something), I’d choose THIS shot:

2NE1 Sandara Park‘s unchanging appearance has become an internet hot issue.
Recently, a post was made on an online community board with the title, “The difference between a 27-year-old and a 30-year-old,” showing screencaptures of Sandara Park in a TV show 3 years ago and pictures of her at the airport returning to Japan on the 9th.
The first photos showed a 27-year-old Sandara Park in 2010, as she appeared on a television broadcast. On that scene, she was proudly showing the hat that was a gift to her from Big Bang’s Taeyang. Sandara Park was showed her adorable and attractive charms with her cute smile, as she voiced out her gratitude to Taeyang for the warm hat that he had gifted her with.
The photos that followed showed a more recent picture of Sandara Park, but still wearing the same hat that she did in 2010. These photos were taken at the airport when she arrived back to Korean from Japan, where she went to watch Se7en‘s concerts there on the 7th and 8th. Sandara Park’s clean skin and good looks were clearly shown.
There’s a three-year difference between the pictures, but people were surprised when they saw the photos and saw that there was no change between this person in her 20s and in her 30s. Netizens who saw the post commented with, “This is a bit scary,” “She even appears younger in her 30s,” “Sandara Park doesn’t seem to grow old,” “She really does appear to get even younger-looking as the years pass. It’s a bit creepy,” “While other people seem to sag by the time they reach their late 20s, Sandara Park seems to do the opposite,” “Why does looking at this make feel a bit angry?” showing their various reactions.

I had this idea to make a round-up article, listing down the memorable things that Dara has done for each month. It was an idea that started last year, and I only came around to having the courage to do it this year, keke! Dara has indeed started all of our year 2013 right, and though 2NE1 are not promoting, January still has been action-packed and memorable for the most part. ^^
