After finding out that Won Bin is off the market, it appears 2NE1’s Sandara Park has switched gears.

The girl group member, who frequently named Won Bin as her ideal type, recently revealed to reporters, “I said that Won Bin was my ideal type, but sadly, he’s found another lover.”

She continued, “I always imagined my man to be like a lead from a movie. Kang Dong Won vaguely comes to mind as an ideal type.”

Despite her public crushes, however, Sandara Park also revealed that she wants to focus on work for now. However, she added, “If Kang Dong Won asks me to marry him, then I might waver. I want to feel security soon.”

2NE1 recently made its comeback with Falling in Love, the first in a series of singles set to be released every month until October.

NE1’s new song ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ stood on top of 7 iTunes around the world in less than 24 hours after its release.

‘FALLING IN LOVE’, which was released on July 8 at 0 a.m., immediately rose to #1 on iTunes of Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Vietnam, Brunei and Hong Kong.

‘FALLING IN LOVE’ is still gradually penetrating the world – in Indonesia and Thailand it is currently ranked #3, while in Finland, Sweden and Macau, it is within rank #20. The phenomenal performance of 2NE1 is even more special as it was accomplished in less than 24 hours of the release.

2NE1 has already proved themselves the ‘high class’ powerful girl group when the new song swept across 9 Korean music charts instantly after its release.

The reggae song ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ is 2NE1’s first attempt at this genre, each member transforming themselves into summery looks. Their last big hit ‘I LOVE YOU’, which was a trot-style (the oldest form of Korean pop music) song, is followed by the newly released ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ – writing another success story for the group.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is preparing for their first comeback performance of ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ on Mnet’s M Countdown for July 11.

2NE1 Kicks Off New Album With Reggae-Tinged ‘Falling in Love

The K-pop foursome reveals the first track from a monthly single release schedule before their October album release.

K-pop phenoms 2NE1 have made their long-awaited comeback with new single “Falling in Love.” The reggae-influenced track makes has a breezy, summery feel to it and showcases 2NE1‘s knack for fierce sing and rap stylings mixed with catchy hooks.

It’s not a truly standout moment for the foursome, but it is a nice return from a group that has been missing from the scene for almost a year. The group also gets points for incorporating a rarely-heard reggae genre to K-pop.

The video accompanies the audio nicely with CL, Minzy, Dara and Bom in summer-ready outfits dancing outdoors on the beach and in Jamaica-themed sets. In fact, it wouldn’t have been to surprising to see Snoop Lion pop in for a cameo at one point. There also seems to be an added focus on youngest member Minzy letting her lead both verses and rocking a florescent pink wig.

In addition to dropping “Falling in Love,” YG Entertainment has announced that 2NE1 will be releasing a new single every month from July to October, when its new record will be released; it has not been decided if it will be an EP or full-length album. The lengthy wait is odd, as fans may remember hearing a similarly-sounding intro track (featuring CL rapping in English) when 2NE1 performed “I Love You” on TV last summer. If the track had been crafted a year ago, what was the hold up?

2NE1 last made a splash on the K-Pop Hot 100 with their only 2012 single “I Love You” reigning No. 1 for two weeks last summer. Leader CL recently released her debut solo single “The Baddest Female” which peaked at No. 4 last month.

Group 2NE1 has made a comeback wand taken over music charts and iTunes charts.

Today, their song, “Falling in Love” was released and took over various music sites such as Melon, Mnet and more for a total of 9 sites.

They also took over the iTunes charts in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong and Vietnam.

They also ranked number 2 in Indonesia, and more. They are also number 44 on the iTunes Worldwide chart.

Their new song, “Falling in Love” features a reggae style of music and is a new genre for the group.

They will be making their comeback on Mnet on July 11.
