Official: YG-Life – FROM YG; 2NE1 COMEBACK!!!

OMG YES!!! OMG YES!!! OMG YES!!!

Finally! YG has decided to break his silence and posted something concrete about 2NE1’s comeback!!!

2NE1 will be releasing a REGGAE song early July with the title, “Falling In Love.” According to YG, 2NE1 will be releasing ONE NEW SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO EACH MONTH FROM JULY TO OCTOBER. That means there’s one for July, August, September and October. 

Please excuse me while I do a happy 2NE1 comeback dance! T_T

Hello, everyone. This is Yang Hyun Suk.

It has been a long time since I said hello to you though FROM YG. The reason why I am writing FROM YG

after such a long time is to tell all of you fans out there, the hottest news on the new albums of YG singers

which are set to be released after July. What’s more, a new YG girl group will be releasing their debut album

after four years of preparation. It has been such a long time since I last wrote FROM YG so I have a lot to say.

To give you an full update on what`s new, I will be writing several FROM YGs from now on. In order to make things simple,

I am going tell you what`s happening in YG by answering some questions. I hope you excuse me for using the Q&A format.

When will 2NE1 make a comeback?

Since their debut, 2NE1 has rocked the charts with numerous hit songs year after year. Just to name a few,

in 2009, ‘Fire’ , ‘I Don’t Care’

in 2010, ‘Can’t Nobody’, ‘Go Away’, ‘Clap Your Hands’

in 2011, ‘I am the Best’, ‘Lonely’ and ‘UGLY’.

However, in 2012, the fans were not able to see much of 2NE1 because of their tight world tour schedule.

‘I LOVE YOU’ was the one and only song that 2NE1 released in 2012.

2NE1 is always eager to meet the fans. So rather than releasing all the new songs that 2NE1 prepared

during the last two years in just one album, 2NE1 is planning to release the songs plus music videos

one a month until the end of this year.

2NE1 new title song will be released in early July, followed by other new tracks in August and September.

In October, we are planning to showcase a mini-album or the official second album of 2NE1.

So, 2NE1 will be promoting at least four tracks from July to October.

What are the genres of 2NE1`s new songs and what are their plans for concerts? 

2NE1`s new song, which will be released in early July, will be reggae, an entirely new genre for 2NE1.

The title of the song is ‘Falling in Love’. 2NE1 is certainly trying something new with this new song

but it will sure show all the great stuff that 2NE1 has as the top female K-pop group. For a new twist,

2NE1 is working with new choreographers from overseas. I am sure that the fans will get to love the new title.

Regarding concerts, we do have plans for 2NE1 concerts after the release of the new album in October.

I will fill you up with details as soon as the plans get finalized. I hope that you send your love

and support to 2NE1 and their new songs.

Admin Post: Project – “Happy 4th Anniversary 2NE1!” + Confirmation

For 2NE1’s 4th Anniversary, we prepared a few simple gifts for 2NE1. They aren’t expensive or designer but we really wanted to give them something personalized in order to show them our love and thanks for a wonderful 4 years. We also know how much Dara loves watching movies, so we included that as well. There are a few Kiiroitori and Rilakkuma Characters for Dara and 2NE1 to celebrate 2013.

The wonderful chibis and names were designed by @BlackjackBelle (Slave Translator) and some of the designs were made by @OhItsLai (Gally the Snail). Time and time again, without fail, we would like to thank Mama Wowa (@HalmeoniLuvDara) for always supporting us. Thanks also to @Ouley_Soleil for her constant support and ideas. ^^ GO TEAM! ❤

OhDara Special: Monthly Round-Up – Jumping into the Heat of Activities in April

YAY! The monthly round-up is here for April!

I know that it’s almost the middle of May (dodges pitchforks, swords, and various pointy objects thrown my way… dodges Primary Admin unnie’s bombs), no excuses are acceptable, I know, but work has been stressful (impending unemployment not withstanding), and so many things happened already! ^^ But anyways, the month of April has been a good one for 2NE1 and Blackjacks alike.

First, the girls solidified their position as Adidas‘s official endorsers, attending not one, but two Adidas-related activities in the month. Earlier in the month, on the 19th, 2NE1 attended the re-opening of the biggest Adidas showroom to date, the Myeongdong store. The group showed up in red and black Adidas tracksuits, as they posed for the gathered crowd, then posed with some of the Adidas shoes inside the store. Apparently, they also tried out the various sports equipment inside, as seen in the fan-taken photos of Dara running for a bit on their treadmill.

Poll: Official WeLoveDara and OhDara Banners – Daralings, choose your favorite~!

Hey guys! ^^ We here in WeLoveDara and OhDara have decided to print are very own WLD and OhDara cheering banners! Weee~! ^_^ The banners would be distributed to Daralings so that we can have something to use for concerts, events, etc.  to cheer for Dara~ ^^ But for now, we need your help in choosing which design we should print out.

I have made different designs and it’s just so hard to choose which one we should use. T_T  The different designs are below and there is a poll at the end of the post where you can vote which banner you like most. ^^

OhDara Special: Monthly Round-Up – Lotsa Loving For Dara Lovers in February

 The month of love – February – has been full of love for us Dara fans! It may not seem like we didn’t get much action this month (or for the past few months for that matter T_T) but if we take a closer look, we do have so many things to be thankful for! ^^ And here we go with our second monthly round-up!

First and foremost is Dara‘s gorgeous, flawless photoshoot for Elle Korea titled, “Say My Name,” which was perfection in its finest! YG Entertainment set us all in a frenzy when they announced that each of the 2NE1 girls would be featured in four differentmagazines. And oh what an awesome features it turned out to be! Each of the girls absolutely shined in
their respective magazine photoshoot and interview.

Dara’s magazine was Elle Korea. Elle is the world’s largest fashion magazine and one of the top 10 most popular Koraen fashion magazines. I felt really happy that Dara was featured in Elle. I know that I wasn’t the only one who positively gaped and had extremely ecstatic feels bordering on hysteric hyperventilation when I first saw her photos in the magazine. Dara was gorgeous. She had her hair in soft curls that was simply styled down, tumbling on her shoulders or in a loose ponytail; no crazy hairstyles this time. She had toned-down, barely-there make-up with a just the right shade of powder pink lipstick. Her clothes leaned towards neutral colors of white and brown, with a refreshing popout of blue and yellow, courtesy of her Fendi skirt. It’s really quite impossible to choose a favorite photo (Really, how can you choose between one shot of perfection to the other? It’s like forcing me to choose between the bass guitar and keyboards, both of which I truly love equally. T_T). But if you really have to make me choose (like if my life depended on it or something), I’d choose THIS shot:

Admin Post: “SIMPLY SANDARA” – A Project Years in the Making

Just a short background…

I think it was around the end of 2009 or the beginning of 2010 when we came up with this idea to give Dara a “magazine” full of articles, photos, features, fan-accounts about her and of course 2NE1. We mobilized ourselves and distributed different parts of the magazine to different Daralings. We had so many plans and so much content that our heads were bursting with it. Then I dunno what happened but the fire died down a little and we found  ourselves buying other gifts instead for Dara. But of course, little by little,  Daralings began submitting their stories, features, etc and we decided to compile it.

WeLoveDara/ OhDara New Evolution Concert in Singapore Project!

Everything about New Evolution Concert was epic! Just epic! From the preparations of the gifts, to the giving away of the OMG fans, Baidu Sandara Bar slogans, and WLD/OD freebies and dried mangoes, until the concert itself.. Everything was just so awesome!

Allow me to share to you our projects for the last concert in the New Evolution Concert world tour! It was held in Singapore, and for the first time ever, I saw 2NE1’s concert live (This is SlaveTranslator a.k.a. @BlackjackBelle by the way) ! It was a surreal, awe-inspiring, and humbling experience that I would not forget in a hurry.. ^^ Here are some of the stuff that your WLD/OD admin representative did in Singapore! ^.^

Super lucky Blackjack Ee Yuen Unnie won a contest where she got a chance to meet 2NE1 backstage at New Evolution Concert, Singapore! So so so lucky! I know most of us are dying with jealousy right now but of course as a Blackjack, we are all so happy for her! ^_^ We met  Ee Yuen Unnie in Seoul for the Korea leg of 2NE1’s New Evolution tour. She is really nice! And thanks to her, our gifts for 2NE1 and Dara were also given directly to the girls!!! In this photo, you can see Ee Yuen Unnie and her daughter with 2NE1. You can also see 2NE1 carrying our gifts for them! ❤
