Official: 2NE1 – New Single Titled “I LOVE YOU” will be Released on July 5!

Two more days until “I Love You” will be released! Are you guys excited?

The newly evolving 2NE1, who will embark on their first ever global tour,will finally release a new single titled “I LOVE YOU.”

The new single, an electro-pop genre music, is another masterpiece producedby Teddy that will feature:

NEW SOUND – A East meets West style of music that will deliver the mysterious sound, NEW MELODY – A melody that listeners will never forget, NEW LYRICS – First time 2NE1 will be singing a sweet love song, NEW VOICE – 2NE1’s new voice that matches perfectly with the new melody andlyrics, and NEW PERFORMANCE – 2NE1’s blockbuster performance that is certain to provide pleasure to 2NE1 fans around the world.

The new single and official music video will be released worldwide at 12:00A.M on Thursday July 5, 2012 (Seoul time) so please stay tuned!

News: YG – “2NE1 will always consist of CL, Dara, Bom and Minzy”

This has caused quite a controversy not just in the international Blackjack community but in Korea well. What do you guys think about YG releasing a video of “Future 2NE1” and his statement after?

YG Releases Footage of the “Future 2NE1”

YG Entertainment uploaded practice room footage of four trainees to the YG YouTube channelyesterday. YG is normally pretty tight-lipped about upcoming acts, so the footage attracted a lot of attention. However, what really stirred up interest was the video’s title, Future 2NE1 (4 Years Later).

Not all publicity is good publicity. So far the trainee footage received mixed reactions from the general public. Many netizens praised the girls’ obvious dancing and singing talent, but others were concerned about the provocative nature of the choreography, considering that all four girls are under fourteen.

2NE1 fans have specifically expressed neutral to negative reactions to the video. Some even speculated whether the trainees were meant to replace the members of the senior group; Not a completely wild accusation if you take the video’s title into account.

YG CEO Yang Hyun Suk addressed the rumor directly through Naver News,  saying that the video “was called future 2NE1 because they are working hard to be a great girl group like their 2NE1 unnies. 2NE1 will always consist of CL, Dara, Bom and Minzy. There will be no member changes, so fans should not misunderstand or worry.” (via Naver)

Caps: How to Join me2day Star Event – me2day Star Chat with 2NE1

I don’t know how this goes but if you guys want to apply, here’s how and maybe you’ll get a chance to have a me2day chatting session with 2NE1!
