Moreover, according to this article on Naver, 2NE1’s First World Tour “New Evolution” will be choreographed by Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” choreographer, Travis Payne and the girls will be joined by Beyonce’s female band leader, Divinity Roxx!

Love how she wore a cropped version of the long dress by Jeremy Scott. ^^ I think it would have looked better if the long sleeves were cropped too. Kekeke! XD

Anyways, loving Dara’s cage shoes by Gareth Pugh! It’s from the designer’s new 2012 line for womenswear inspired by crazy cages. ^^

2NE1′s new song to be used for Maybelline New York

On June 22nd, 2NE1‘s Park Bom attended a PR product launch event for the makeup brand ‘Maybelline New York‘ in Tokyo.

At the event, Maybelline announced that 2NE1′s new song (title not yet announced and will be released on August 29th) is going to be used as the theme song for their upcoming CM promoting their ‘Volume Express Magnum Cat Eyes Waterproof Mascara’.

Bom was wearing a sexy dress that accentuated her gorgeous body line and beautiful legs for the event and commented on the tie-up, “It’s an honor. The song expresses the feelings of a woman and perfectly fits with the image of Maybelline. I still can’t sing it for you yet, but please look forward to it.”

The new CM is scheduled to start broadcasting nationwide in August.

2PM, 2NE1, Girls’ Generation win at Japan MTV awards

Boy band 2PM and girl groups 2NE1 and Girls’ Generation received major awards at the MTV Japan music video awards on Saturday, beating other internationally famous artists.

2PM won the Best Group Video with “I am Your Man” and 2NE1 received the Best New Artist Video with “I am the Best.”

Girls’ Generation won Best Album with “Girls Generation,” their first regular album in Japan, released in June last year. The album has sold 206,979 copies, making it the 11th best-selling album in the first half of the year on the Oricon Chart.

The MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2012 was held at Makuhari Messe Hall in Chiba, near Tokyo, on Saturday.

In winning the Best New Artist Video award, 2NE1 beat artists including LMFAO and James Blake as well as well-known Japanese groups.

2NE1 commented, “We want to thank our staff and Blackjacks, our fans. 2NE1! Let’s play!” The girls heated up the venue with their performance of “I am the Best,” and “Scream” in front of more than 6,000 audiences.

2NE1 plans to hold concerts in Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama in September as part of their “New Evolution” Japan tour and expect to perform for more than 70,000 people. 

2PM prevailed over other nominees including Coldplay and Maroon 5 to win the Best Group Video prize.

“We would like to attribute the honor of receiving the award to our fans and those who love ‘I am Your Man,’” 2PM said in Korean, Japanese and English after receiving the award.

2PM and 2NE1 performed with top Japanese groups EXILE and J Soul Brothers at the annual MTV Video Music Awards Japan.

The annual music video awards ceremony was presented by the Japanese singer Perfume and attended by world-famous artists including EXILE, JUJU, Bump of Chicken, Linkin Park and J Soul Brothers.

2NE1’s New Sexy Concept? “Keep A Look Out” Says Minzy

2NE1 is about to make a comeback after a year since “I am the Best” and “Ugly.” Their new style and music is already drawing in a mass attention.

The group was at the red carpet event of the recent movie “Spider Man.” When being asked about the new concept, Dara only gave a mysterious, “Hmmm sexy? I don’t think so! It’s a big surprise!”

The interview with an OSEN reporter was only brief, and the members slightly hinted on their upcoming single. The youngest member Minzy let out, “Our new look and style is still a big secret. We promise to not disappoint you though, so please keep a look out for us!”

Dara also commented, “I think this is going to be very sexy. We are rehearsing hard for this so please wait for us.”

2NE1 was supposed to come back in the beginning of the month, but their agency YG Entertainmentexplains, “We are thinking of delaying our comeback till early July, as we are trying and working harder than ever for the new shows and videos. It may be earlier or later, depending on how things go.”

2NE1‘s comeback date is said to be clashing with Super Junior’s, which is already becoming a hot issue amongst the fans.

2NE1 is holding a concert next month, beginning their first world tour in 10 cities of 7 countries.

An Etude House representative said, “Boys Over Flowers actor, Lee Minho, became really popular because of the drama, and after him, we have Sandara Park as the endorsement model, it’s good for the company because they are from the hallyu wave,” he continued, “In fact, in the Philippines, Etude has recorded the highest growth rate compared to any other local cosmetic brand that were launched there,” he revealed.
