The cast of the much-anticipated βCheese in the Trapβ film adaptation have finally gottenΒ together!
On March 25, Park Hae Jinβs official Instagram (managed by his agencyΒ Mountain Movement) shared photos from the get-together on Instagram, with the caption, βOur team that got close at our first meeting. Looking forward to the set.β Many of the other actors have also shared one of the same photos to their own Instagrams. The images showed the actors looking friendly and ready to play their well-loved roles, with Park Hae Jin as Yoo Jung, Oh Yeon Seo as Hong Seol, Park Ki Woongas Baek In Ho, Yoo In Young as Baek In Ha, as well as the recently confirmed Kim Hyun Jin as Kwon Eun Taek and Sandara Park as Jang Bo Ra, among others.Β
Based on writer Soon Kiβs webtoon of the same name, βCheese in the Trapβ is a story that primarily revolves around the school lives of various characters, including the seemingly perfect Yoo Jung, the thoughtful Hong Seol, and the charming Baek In Ho.
It will be directed by Kim Je Young, who was behind the screenplay and direction of projects such as βWonderful Radio,β βWonderful Nightmare,β βInsane,β and βQueen of the Night.β
The movieΒ will kick off filming in April.

According to a statement released by Mountain Movement Story on March 24, former 2NE1 member Sandara Park has been cast in the film adaptation of the popular webtoon βCheese In The Trap.β
Sandara Park has been consistently acting in various projects like βThe Return of Iljimae,β βDr. Ian,β βMissing Korea,β and βOne More Happy Ending.β She will also be making her big screen debut through the film βOne Stepβ this April.
The actress will be taking on the role of Jang Bora, who is the energetic and honest best friend of main character Hong Seol. A source from the production staff stated, βWe were very surprised by how well Sandara Park was able to pull of the blunt, refreshingly straightforward character of Jang Bora and decided she was very well-qualified for the role.β
Acting opposite Sandara Park in the role of Kwon Eun Taek will be actor Kim Hyun Jin. Kwon Eun Taek is a handsome and lovable character who has a one-sided crush on Jang Bora and tries to protect and take care of her. Kim Hyun Jin first debuted as a fashion model and will be making his debut as an actor through JTBCβs upcoming drama βMan To Man.β This means that Kim Hyun Jin will be working alongside Park Hae Jin in both βMan to Manβ and the film adaptation of βCheese In The Trap,β as the actor is in a lead role for both projects.
The cast and crew will have their first official meeting together on March 25 and will begin filming in April.
Meanwhile, the main cast for the film adaptation of βCheese In The Trapβ was announced in February; however, some fans of the original webtoon and drama adaptation have expressed disappointment as they believe the casting is not realistic.
