“부대찌개” means “budae jjigae”otherwise known as the “Korean Army stew.” ^_^ It’s a kind of stew, and it came about after the war in Korea. It actually has an interesting history if you want to read about it.. XD

I cannot explain what 한살 means (that’s the thing on the cabbage on the picture), literally, it does mean “one year old” or something like that. It does however, have something to do with age, which is a bit more complicated in Korean culture, than the Western culture.. XD It has something to do with calendar years, so I’ll just give you this link and hope for a better understanding.. XD
