In the teasing image, Dara Park is wearing a wide-brimmed hat and black blouse with her blond hair. Her Marilyn Monroe like styling is garnering attention.
Especially, Dara Park is standing in a dreamy background where it seems to be snowing. Her eyes shining with sorrow, she is singing ‘Hate adult’s calculating love’ with her tantalizing voice.
Previously, 2NE1 revealed ‘Double Park TV‘ on 18th at morning via YG blog and announced that their ‘Missing You’ sound source will be released in Nov.21 and planning a world tour next year. 2NE1 will be starting promotion with their new song ‘Missing You’ and start their world tour in March next year starting in Seoul, then China, Hongkong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and so on.”
2NE1 will be performing their new song ‘Missing You‘ for the first time at ‘MAMA(Mnet Asian Music Awards)’ on Nov.22.
Dara Park, forewarns her transformation before news song release.. “toned down this time”
[OSEN=Han Hye-rim] Girl group 2NE1 Dara Park unveiled her current status before her new song release.
On 19th afternoon Dara Park posted a picture on her twitter with a caption that reads, “Dara gang! My friend who transforms me into hot gangster. He is as abnormal as we are. This time in what style? I am going to go calm this time so don’t worry.”
In the picture, Dara Park is wearing a same gray hooded t-shirt with 2NE1 stylist Yang Seung-ho. She is playfully pulling her t-shirt string with blond hair which not anyone can pull off.
Netizen responded “Dara Park getting younger”, “Yang Seung-ho is so cool. Looking forward to 2NE1’s new song.”, “Hot in blond” and so on.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be dropping their new song ‘Missing You’ on Nov.21.
YG Yang Hyun-suk “2NE1 new song, weirdly makes you shed tears”
[OSEN=Lee Hye-rin] YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk introduced 2NE1‘s new song ‘Missing You‘ which will be released on 21 as “marvelous song which will make tears running down.”
On 19th afternoon, he said to OSEN about ‘Missing You‘ for the first time. “This song is weird. The refined arrangement of the song is outstanding like a pop song and has peculiar charm. This song unintentionally makes you cry.”
According to Yang Hyun-suk, the song not only made 2NE1 cry but also Lee Eun-joo cried after listening to the song. He added, “It was hard to make progress when recording due to the members crying. It was so weird. So I made my wife listen and she also cried right away. I was so surprised. I am curious of how the public will respond.”
The song was composed by YG’s main producer Teddy. In the previously unveiled teaser, ‘I hate him, who left me’ lyrics and tantalizing melody garnered attention.
Dara Park introduced their new song ‘Missing You’ as following, “I needed a box of tissues while I was recording this song because of my tears.” and Park Bom added, “This song will be delivering our feelings by touching your soul.”
The sound source will be released on Nov.21 at midnight.
Sandara Park Shows Superior Visuals, “Marilyn Monroe Transformation”
Sandara Park‘s superior visuals have once more attracted attention.
On the 21st, following the announcement of 2NE1‘s comeback with the new single, “Missing You,” Sandara Park‘s teaser were released, showing off her soft voice and superior visuals.
In the image that was officially released in the afternoon of the 21st, Sandara Park‘s large-brimmed fedora, matched with her black blouse, and straight blonde hair drew attention with her subtle, sensual styling, similar to that of Marilyn Monroe.
Sandara Park further drew attention with her sad, dreamy eyes that suited the ethereal atmosphere of the background, with snow falling. Her soft voice sang of “I hate the calculative love of adults,” drawing the curiosity of the listeners to what the song is about.
Dara & Thunder Start Charity Campaign for Haiyan-struck Philippines
Recently, the Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines, resulting in nearly 4,000 fatalities and over 10,000 injured. In response, the siblings Dara of 2NE1 and Thunder of MBLAQ set up a charity campaign at the WEGENERATION website to raise funds to donate to the Philippines.
“We are especially worried about the Philippines because we spent our childhood there,” the siblings wrote on the site. “Please support us so our neighbors in the Philippines can overcome their hardships and stand on their own two feet again!”
Haiyan was the most powerful typhoon that ever made landfall, and struck its first target, the eastern Philippines coastal city of Tacloban, with hurricane force (Beaufort force 12) winds and tidal waves that literally swept over the city.
Dara and Thunder’s campaign began on November 11 and will continue for six weeks. The target figure is 5 million Korean won, approximately 4,700 US dollars. The money raised will be handed over to the World Share charity organization to support emergency aid in the Philippines. Ten supporters will be chosen by lot to receive five of Dara’s treasures and five of Thunder’s.
Double Park Announces 2NE1 World Tour and Shows Teaser for New Song
As announced, 2NE1’s Sandara Park and Park Bom came as Double Park to announced 2NE1’s upcoming comeback.
On November 18, Double Park held its urgent press conference, where Sandara Park and Park Bom announced 2NE1’s upcoming global tour in March of 2014. The members will visit Seoul, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and China.
2NE1 will also be releasing its new song, I Miss You on November 21 at midnight.
Making the announcements a lot more entertaining, Minzy and CL acted as reporters to ask questions. Reporter Minzy asked when 2NE1 Minzy’s solo song will be released, as it was recorded in 2011. Park Bom replied, “We’re all thinking positively about Minzy’s solo,” before moving along.
Reporter CL asked when 2NE1’s next album will be released. Park Bom replied, “No one knows, not even the daughter-in-law (a Korean saying to imply that no one knows).”
Sandara Park gave a short preview of 2NE1’s I Miss You instead.

2NE1 Announces Comeback and World Tour, Reveals MV Teaser
Great news for 2NE1 fans!
On November 18, unnies Park Bom and Sandara Park aka Double Park released a video from their “urgent press conference.”
The first thing they talked about was their world tour, which will kickstart in March next year starting in Seoul and will also hit up countries in Asia including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan.
The Park sisters also discussed 2NE1’s comeback, which will be just in a few days on November 21 and they’ll drop their new song “I’m Lonely” (English title pending) as well as the music video at midnight.
The emotional track fits perfectly well with the night scene. The girls cried many times while recording the song in the recording studio and Dara, in particular, used up a whole box of kleenex to wipe her tears.
There was a section where reporters had a chance to ask questions and members Minzyand CL made special appearances as reporters.

YG, heavy comeback…relay of strong dominating stages
[OSEN=Hwang Mi-hyun] YG Entertainment‘s main singers coming out with strong distinguished performance.
YG families’ heavy singers Bigbang, 2NE1 is coming back as solos with various methods, filling the end of 2013. Especially Bigbang members are topping the sound source charts whenever each members release their solo album. TOP also announced his comeback rush with his solo song ‘DOOMDADA’ soon to be dropped on 15th.
Along with Bigbang, 2NE1 will also release their new song. Not only will they release their new song in the middle of this month but also will be taking their comeback stage in Mnet Asia’s music award. This forewarns their third homerun.
Group Bigbang and 2NE1 representing YG are steaming up the music industry. Especially, G-Dragon is garnering attention from in and out Korea. Taeyang also released his new song ‘Ringa Linga’ on 8th receiving great love with his strong performance.
2NE1 also topped on sound source charts ‘Falling in love’ and ‘Do you love me’ each released in June and August. They are already highly expected with their new album which will be released in November. The album concept is not yet exposed but their always-daring and drastic performance is expected.
After the heavy singers’ promotion, YG’s young groups will be carrying the torch. According to the related person, Lee Ha-yi, Akdong Musician, and Winer are all preparing their albums. They will be coming back to the boomed up music industry after their senior singers. Group Winner is so-called ‘Monster Rookie’ who already formed a large fandom via Mnet survival program. Lee Ha-yi and Akdong Musicians who all killed sound source charts without TV promotion are all highly anticipated.

2NE1 Helps Spread Korean Culture at KBEE 2013 in London
Introduction Korea entertainment and culture to Europe, 2NE1 participated in the 2013 Korea Brand & Entertainment EXPO or KBEE 2013 in London.
From November 4 to November 6, CJ E&M opened up the KBEE 2013 in Old Billingsgate, located in London. Centering around K-Pop, the event shared diverse contents in Korean entertainment and culture, securing its possibilities of success in Europe.
The Expo included several events, such as the Star Make Up Show, DJing & Dancetime, an autograph session with 2NE1, as well as the first unveiling of YG Entertainment’s hologram concerts featuring 2NE1 and Psy.
“We presented the hologram concerts of 2NE1 and Psy in London,” said YG Entertainment. “We earned a lot of enthusiastic responses from fans who stood up in line to see stars they normally wouldn’t be able to see. It gave us confirmation on the possibilities of distributing these hologram concerts overseas.”
The 2NE1 members, the honorary ambassadors of 2013 KBEE, also appeared to perform their hit songs, such as Lonely, I’m the Best, and Do You Love Me, being warmly greeted by European buyers and fans.
With the success of 2013 KBEE, CJ E&M hopes to spread Korean culture and entertainment outside of Asia and into other parts of the world.

2NE1 fulfills their duty as honorary ambassadors for the Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo 2013 and attends the presentation ceremony for the Korean War veterans.
On November 6th, 2NE1 attended the third and final day of the Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo 2013 held at the Old Billingsgate in London, United Kingdom. The grow fulfilled their role as ambassadors and presented the friendship gifts to the Korean War veterans in behalf of the participants of this year’s exhibit.
Prior to the awarding ceremony, 2NE1 also held an exclusive fan signing with 200 lucky fans.
As ambassadors for this year’s event held in London, United Kingdom, 2NE1 also performed at the Congratulatory Ceremonyyesterday. The same event also launched YG Entertainment’s “Hologram Concert” which featured exclusive digital concert performances with PSY and 2NE1.
The Korea Brand & Entertainment Expo is described to be the world’s first and largest annual exhibit promoting Korean culture. It was hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and was organised by KOTRA and KOCCA. Already on its fourth year, they have appointed 2NE1 as their honorary ambassadors for the event.
