2NE1 revealed their dance practice video of ‘FALLING IN LOVE’, which displays the ‘harp’ dance in four different and unique styles of each member.
The video was posted on July 12 on 2NE1’s official YouTube channel and YG Entertainment’s official blog, YG-LIFE. Although it was a video of the members practicing, the dance is as good as the real performance on stage, as well as their singing.
2NE1 showed off their cute and fresh choreography along their new reggae song ‘FALLING IN LOVE’.
The four members successfully coated the ‘harp’ dance with their own colors, which is a movement that imitates harp playing. Although the choreography is the same, their styles differ from each other.
2NE1, in the past was known for their powerful and charismatic performance, but their comeback song is a comfortable and light one. Thus the choreography for ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ is also gives the pleasant feeling. The dance, designed by a famous Japanese choreographer, is itself a perfect portrayal of reggae’s free style.
When the first comeback performance was officially revealed on Mnet’s M Countdown yesterday, ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ received many positive reviews.
2NE1, starting from ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ in July, will promote their album by releasing a new song every month until October. As this is their first comeback in a long time, they want to show each song perfectly. The group also announced that they will be seen a lot more frequently on TV music and variety show programs. And this is about to start – on July 13 (Saturday), they will perform on MBC’s ‘SHOW! MUSIC CENTER’ for the fans.

[OSEN= Hye Rin Lee] 2NE1, one of the most popular girl groups, has gained attention with bold barefoot performance.
July 11th, on Mnet ‘M Countdown,’ 2NE1 had a comeback stage with the new song ‘Falling in Love.’ On the stage filled with sand, they appeared barefoot and showcased a sensational performance dancing along the raggae rhythm.
The reason why many girl groups have performed with high heels enduring its huge pain is to show off their nice legs. However, 2NE1 boasted their confidence on their leg lines without heels by staging barefoot matched with short pants.
Of course this was only possible thanks to the sand that was specially prepared for their comeback stage. Dancing barefoot barely happens since it is rather dangerous to dance on an ordinary stage barefoot. Ga-in’s tango-style ‘Irreversible’ barefoot performance is almost the only other barefoot performance so far.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 has staged with cute and lively charms which contrasts with their original charismatic image. Their choreography also well reflects their new charm. Their choreography was even more original since they have worked with the new rising Japanese choreographer, Koharu.
YG Entertainment said, “The reason behind avoiding working with choreographers with fancy career experience is for the novelty. Koharu was a nice match with 2NE1 since Koharu’s choreograpy went well with 2NE1’s song. YG Entertainment is striving to come up with original and unique choreography rather than conventional moves.”

[OSEN= Jae Min Pyo] 2NE1, one of the top girl groups in Korea, has completed their impressive comback stage with their new reggae-style love song. They staged barefoot as if they were trying to emphasize the summer mood and successfully dominated the screen.
2NE1 had their comeback stage on 11th of July, on ‘Mnet M Countdown’ with their new song, ‘Falling in Love.’ 2NE1 revealed the love song that goes perfectly well with summer for the first time on a music program.
First of all, 2NE1 pleased the audience with their exciting love song. The fun reggae-style song was new and addictive. Also, the members catch our eyes since 2NE1 is armed with new set of cute charms and beauty. Their barefoot performance was even more enjoyable since they actually performed on a stage filled with sand to create beach atmosphere.
Not to mention their choreography. Since they have worked together with one of the famous choreographers in Japan, their sophisticated moves were impressive.
‘Falling in Love’ is earning favorable reviews, in that the reggae-style genre they have tried out for the first time goes well with hot summer.
Indeed, this is not the first time they deviate from their major genre. 2NE1’s teuroteu-style ‘I love you’ with dance performance has already gained huge popularity. 2NE1 has always been consistently seeking for changes out of their comfort zone every since their debut even though they are a girl group, and this is what put them on the top.
2NE1 released this new song on July 8th and soon topped 9 major domestic sound sources sites including Melon. They once again proved strong sound source power. Furthermore, they have ranked 1st on iTunes in 7 Asian countries including Hongkong and Taiwan.
Starting with ‘Mnet M Countdown,’ they are having other comback stages on MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on 13th and SBS ‘The Music Trend’ on 14th.
Meanwhile, a number of artists joined the program including 2NE1, Sistar, Roy Kim, 4Minute, Henry, Exo, Girl’s Day, Dal Shabet, A Pink, Jewerly, John Park, Lim Kim, Baek Ah Yeon, Led Apple, Crayon Pop, HEYNE, BBde Girl, A-JAX, and Stellar.

[OSEN= Young Jin Lim] 2NE1 has revealed their harp dance training video which is filled with their charms.
YG Entertainment, 2NE1‘s management company, has posted the choreography training video of ‘Falling In Love’ on 12th on YouTube official channel and YG Life Blog. In the video, the members boast perfect live performance just like performing on a real music program.
The ‘Harp dance’ reminds of playing the musical instrument, harp. Although it is a same choreography, the members each exuded different charms of their own. They have worked together with the new rising foreign choreographer Koharu and successfully expressed the freewheelingness of reggae.
Meanwhile, starting with ‘Falling In Love,’ 2NE1 is planning the promotion of releasing new songs each month until October. They are determined to present each and every song with care to the audience since it has been a long time since their last release. 2NE1 is planning to be active with their career which includes staging on MBC ‘Music Core’ in 2 years.
