I know that its really weird seeing the girls lipsynch but I’m guessing that the circumstances called for it. ^^ They are still the best though!

2NE1! I miss my girls so much! Ayt, so we know that 2NE1 were guests in popular Japanese show, The Best House 1 2 3. These caps are when they acted as the guest panels who will rank “the best life-saving shelter if disaster strikes tomorrow.” There will be a separate post for their performance. ^^

The girls won Singer of the Year for the Month of May! Technically, its Singer of the Month for May but since its named that way who are we to argue? ^_^ The girls won for their hit song “LONELY”!

As earlier revealed, 2NE1 will be releasing a single and a Japanese “Best” album on the same day, at the end of March. More information surrounding the contents of these releases was revealed earlier this month.
The single, which is set to be revealed in three different versions, features two tracks. It’s title track was revealed to be named “SCREAM”, while a second title has yet to be added to the list and remains unnamed for now. The CD Only version includes a remix of the title track, while the first DVD version includes the music video for “SCREAM”, the making of and footage of “2NE1 VACATION”; the second will have a “2NE1 TV SEASON3 HIGHLIGHT”
The full album “COLLECTION”, on the other hand, will be available in four different versions. All of them include the main tracklist of 10 songs, with an original Japanese track added, “SCREAM”. Apart from the CD Only and the CD+DVD version, the CD+2DVD version comes with an additional photobook and will have Japanese MVs for “SCREAM”, “I AM THE BEST”, “UGLY”, “HATE YOU”, “LONELY” and “GO AWAY” on the first DVD. The second DVD consists of original Korean music videos for “FIRE (SPACE)”, “FIRE (STREET)”, “I DON’T CARE”, “FOLLOW ME”, “CLAP YOUR HANDS”, “IT HURTS”, and the English version of “CAN’T NOBODY”. The 4th version of the album comes with an additional handtowel and small bag. This version is only set for a release through HMV.
“LOVE IS OUCH”, was also revealed to have been chosen as a CM track for “CanCam”. At the same time, a DVD release by the name of “2NE1 1st Japan Tour ‘NOLZA in Japan'” will be revealed on February 29th.

Swizz Beatz has expressed his will to produce a collaboration between Korean girl group 2NE1 and U.S. pop star Rihanna.
At a press conference held in Seoul on Monday announcing a partnership between Swizz Beatz’ production company and local media agency O&media, Beatz told 10Asia that teaming up 2NE1 with Rihanna is one of his many goals.
“K-pop stars have a lot of potential… I found a new expression in K-pop. The world is open for new things,” he told the magazine. “This partnership is the beginning of history.”
A producer, designer, rapper, DJ, painter, CEO, professor and marketing manager, Swizz Beatz, one of the most talented figures Hollywood, is taking another leap by attempting to bridge the music world between East and West.
Through the partnership with the agency in Korea, Beatz will be producing albums from the two countries and assisting them on entering each other’s market as well as making cross-region collaborations with A-list musicians.
Separately, the companies stated in a press release that artists from both firms including Alicia Keys, who is also the wife of Beatz, are planning to produce joint albums under Beatz’ direction.
To add to the fast-developing partnership of the two companies, they are currently training 15 soon-to-be artists to be unveiled in the latter half of this year.
“We will be making a ground-breaking announcements happening in the near future,” the producer noted.
A nominee of last year’s Grammy Award’s Best Rap Performance, he also has worked with major world-class celebrities such as Madonna, Bono, U2, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jay Z and Eminem.
