Fashionista 2NE1 shows lovely yet sensual stage at “Music Trend”
[OSEN=Hwang Mi-hyeon] 2NE1 showed a lovely yet sensual stage and was met with a great reaction from the audience.
On the 21st at 3;30pm, 2NE1 appeared at SBS’s “Music Trend” and performed their single “Falling in Love.”
The members appeared on the show wearing mini-skirts and skinny jeans, and showed off outfits that befitted their reputation as fashionistas. They performed an upbeat stage for their single “Falling in Love.”
As this is the first time the group is singing about the sweet sensation of falling in love, the members appealed to the audience with a cuteness but at the same time maintained their orginal charisma through dance moves including the wave.
Also, each member showed her own uniqueness through her expressions and poses and provided the fans with plenty of interesting points to watch.
2NE1 beat Apink and Davichi to win first place at the “Music Trend.”
The “Music Trend” show that day featured artists such as INFINITE, 2NE1, EXO, John Park, Ailee, Apink and BESTie.

2NE1 Tops Inkigayo After Music Center: Dancing with Kwanghee
[OSEN=황미현 기자] 2NE1 tops Inkigayo, another music channel of South Korea’s national television, after ranking #1 on MBC’s Show! Music Center.
On Inkigayo, which was aired on July 21 at 3:30 p.m., 2NE1’s name was called for the #1 artist of July week 3.
DARA, with the top trophy in her hands, commented, “I want to thank our CEO YANG HYUN-SUK for always being there for us and also the rest of the YG family. And I also want to thank everyone from Black Jack (2NE1’s fan club) for supporting us all the time!”
BOM expressed another round of gratitude to everyone and asked Kwang-hee to dance with her. To this, Kwang-hee yelled out ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ and the audience bust into laughter when he did a wave dance.
2NE1’s achievement was followed by topping Show! Music Center the previous day. On Mne’ts M Countdown, which airing was cancelled for July 18, 2NE1 also won a trophy for acing the program’s music chart.
At Inkiagyo, other artists including Infinite, Exo, John Park, Ailee, A Pink and BESTie were present to deliver dynamic performances.

2NE1 SETS THEMSELVES APART ON INKIGAYO WITH DOUBLE CHARMS: POWER VS BUBBLY
[OSEN=박현민 기자] 2NE1 showed off their double charms of charisma and cuteness on the music program Inkigayo through their comeback and CL’s solo performances.
On July 14, SBS’s Inkigayo, which showed a wrap-up session for the first half year of 2013, CL performed her very first solo song “THE BADDEST FEMALE” that fired up the music world in first half of the year.
Through the flames on stage, CL freely showed her tough and charismatic character by rapping, heating up the audiences of the show.
The performance was followed by staging with three other members, Dara, Bom and Minzy, with their new reggae song “FALLING IN LOVE”. They successfully transformed themselves into cute and bubbly singers, adding more excitement to the performance.
The transformation came once again when the four members performed “THE BADDEST FEMALE” together. It was the first time all members sang CL’s solo song, and it was retouched to become an exciting rhythmic song, perfect for a party.
The performance was indeed a stage filled with 2NE1’s passion. Their enthusiasm for music always helps them become more different and unique every time they release a new song.
Inkigayo, which tied up the first half year of 2013, also included LEE HYORI, SHINee, 2NE1, CNBLUE, K WILL, INFINITE, 4 MINUTE, AFTER SCHOOL, SISTAR, B1A4, GIRL’S DAY, EXO, BAECHIGI, HUH GAK & JEONG EUN-JI, LEE HI and VIXX.

INKIGAYO CANCELLED – M COUNTDOWN NOW TO BE THE FIRST TO REVEAL 2NE1’S ‘FALLING IN LOVE’
[enews24 손보경 기자] On July 11, 2NE1’s performance of the new song ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ will be unveiled for the first time on Mnet’s M Countdown.
On July 7, YG Entertainment announced, “The first comeback performance of ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ will be revealed on M Countdown.”
Initially, 2NE1 was scheduled to perform on Inkigayo in the evening of July 7 before releasing their song. But due to Asiana’s plane crash at San Francisco’s international airport, the television broadcasting system inevitably had to cancel the show.
Thus 2NE1’s music video and the actual song, ‘FALLING IN LOVE’, will become available to listen on July 8 at 0 a.m. This will quench the thirst of the long-awaited fans.
2NE1’s last song ‘I LOVE YOU’, a mix of electronic and trot, attracted much attention when it was revealed last July. And they are returning after one long year with ‘FALLING IN LOVE,’ a reggae song – a style that has not yet been tried by the group. However, it is already expected to sweep across the music world this summer again.
2NE1’s teaser image of the upcoming song features very cool and fresh summer looks of each member. Another teaser image that captures them as Egyptian goddesses are building up curiosity as well.
The song, which will be unveiled before their comeback performance, is keeping music lovers very excited. Fans are thrilled to see what kind of wonders 2NE1 would do this time with their performance on July 11.

2NE1 to go onstage for fans despite “Inkigayo” Cancellation
On the 7th, the live coverage of SBS’s “Inkigayo” was abruptly cancelled. However, several of the participating artists are planning to put on performances for the fans who will be present in the audience.
Groups including 2NE1, A Pink, Dynamic Duo and My Name, who were due to put on their comeback stages on that day’s show, are planning to meet with fans at “Inkigayo” site starting 3pm of that day. In particular, 2NE1 will even be debuting their new song which hasn’t even been released in online music sites yet.
It was reported that the groups were putting on the performances to thank the fans for coming to the site to support them even when the live coverage was cancelled.
On that day around 1pm, SBS made the decision to pull the show in consequence of the Asiana passenger jet crash that occurred that dawn at San Francisco International Airport.
A SBS party told OSEN that a special coverage of the crash was schedule for the show’s time slot and that the broadcasting station felt that it would be inappropriate to put on a live music show in face of such a tragic accident having occurred earlier that day.
