Almost a must if you have a comeback, Girl’s Generation, CN Blue, and 2NE1 will appear on KBS’ Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook once again.
On March 11, SNSD and CN Blue appeared at the recording of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook, performing their latest hits for the audience.
Yoo Hee Yeol poured his affection for the groups, especially SNSD, unable to stop smiling during the recording.
The day’s recording also set a new record for the live broadcast ticket, which had the competition rate of 42:1, presumably because two big groups were performing on the same program on the same day.
According to YG Entertainment on March 13, 2NE1 will also be visiting Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook as well, filming the show on March 18.
SNSD and CN Blue’s performances will be broadcasted on March 14, while 2NE1 will most likely appear on March 21.

[OSEN=박현민 기자] Girl group 2NE1 appears in KBS 2TV’s music show “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” (“Sketchbook”).
2NE1 takes part in the shooting of “Sketchbook” on the 18 this month, to present a variety of performances. Before that, 2NE1 appeared in “Sketchbook” in August last year in four years, to create a sensation by singing their hits including “I AM THE BEST”, “FALLING IN LOVE”, and “DO YOU LOVE ME”.
2NE1 has recently been under the spotlight in and out of the country, with the release of their second full-length album “CRUSH”. 2NE1 has not only swept the No.1 places in real-time music charts and daily charts upon the release of the music, but also set a new record for K-Pop by taking the 61st place on “Billboard 200”, Billboard’s album chart, for the first time for a Korean singer. 2NE1 has also been receiving a series of rave reviews from Korean and foreign media outlets since they released the music video of their new songs.
Plus, 2NE1 attracted a lot of attention by captivating fans with an enthusiastic and powerful live performance at the Seoul concert of their second world tour “ALL OR NOTHING”, which was held on March 1 and 2 at Olympic Park’s SK Handball Hall located in Bangi-dong, Seoul.
As 2NE1 has shown a variety of colors so far with their free but explosive, and sometimes sentimental and emotional, performances, fans are paying a keen attention to what kind of new appeal 2NE1 will present on the stage of “Sketchbook” this time. Because “Sketchbook” is a music show which shows live performances, 2NE1 is expected to fully exert their potential on the stage with a perfect live performance.
Meanwhile, before the shooting of “Sketchbook”, 2NE1 is to meet their fans in Mnet’s “M-Countdown” on the 13 and in SBS “INKIGAYO” on the 16.

[OSEN=권지영 기자] Girl group 2NE1 discloses the performance of “GOTTA BE YOU”, one of double title tracks of their new album, for the first time on TV this week.
2NE1 kicked off TV appearance by performing “CRUSH” and “COME BACK HOME” in SBS “INKIGAYO” on the 9. Now, 2NE1 is to show a new appeal by performing “GOTTA BE YOU”, one of the double titles, this week.
“GOTTA BE YOU” was co-produced by YG producer TEDDY and PK. This light-tempo song has a popular appeal which especially comes from the strong impression created by the main part’s melody where MINZY and BOM cry ‘GOTTA BE YOU’. The song was selected as one of the double title tracks of 2NE1’s new album along with “COME BACK HOME”, for such an appeal.
After the release of 2NE1’s second full-length album on the 27 last month, they have been proving a big popularity by sweeping No.1 places in major music-streaming websites, as well as by making ten songs in their new album take top ten places in charts at the same time. As of today (12), two weeks after the disclosure of the new songs, “COME BACK HOME” and “GOTTA BE YOU” are still in the second and third places in the chart of Korea’s biggest music website Melon, proving a continuing popularity.
Even though a flood of new songs are poured into the music market every day, 2NE1 is creating multiple hits from one album simultaneously, which is a very rare case for a girl group. This confirms 2NE1’s status as Korea’s leading girl group.
“COME BACK HOME” also drew a big attention when its music video was disclosed and 2NE1 presented the song’s performance with the choreography directly created by YG’s head Yang Hyun Suk for 2NE1.
The performance of “GOTTA BE YOU” is to be first disclosed on TV this week and its music video has not been released yet. However, the song is creating a big sensation, so fans are all the more looking forward to seeing the performance of the song.
What choreography and style 2NE1 will show on the TV stage of “GOTTA BE YOU”, following the performance of “CRUSH” and “COME BACK HOME” disclosed last week, is exciting fans now.
