IMO a “rice wreath” made from your heart is a much greater gift to give, Dara-ya. Love is priceless and is worth more than any rice wreath! 🙂 Rice wreaths are only the manifestation of the act-the giving-which stems from our love for that person. Notwithstanding the fact that after you’ve realized the slight-that you were too busy you forgot- you’ve immediately acknowledged it, offered your remorse, and made up for it by posting it on Twitter. This is actually a nice analogy about real life. We all make mistakes-some unintentionally-but the most important thing is we acknowledge it, be remorseful about it, and do everything we can not to do it again. That’s what love is and it’s a much greater gift! 🙂
