About the First Comeback Stage..
The first comeback stage of 2NE1’s new single, “I Am The Best”
has decided to SBS’s “Inkigayo” on coming Sunday.
The broadcasting station showed consideration to allow 10 min for comeback stage
but YG requested politely to perform only 1 song.
It is normal wish for artists and producers to get even 1 more min for comeback stage
but the reason that YG requested to shorten the length is
we think it’s more important to focus on one complete performance
with more concentration on the final stage of practicing “I Am The Best”.
M/V Release Date
The music video, “I Am The Best“ will now be released two or three days later
than its expected release date, June 24th 00:00 AM.
The problem was that we had set the bar too high..
Might be overambitious for great work? We spent more than twice the amount of money
we had spent on previous videos, and the scale of the video grew larger than expected,
which lengthened the post-production time.

June 15 Notice:
June 24th, “I Am The Best” Digital Single Release..
First of all… deepest apologies for delayed 2NE1′s new song release for the internal affairs.
After “Don’t Cry” and “Lonely”, 2NE1′s new song release date
has fixed to June 24th and song title is “I Am The Best”.
The work of YG’s main producer, “Teddy”, “I Am The Best”
is a mix of electronic and hip-hop genre with fast and intense beat.
It is expected to get a good response from not only young generation who is familiar with club culture but also fans who love 2NE1′s own colored music such as the debut song “Fire”.
Unlike those previous songs which didn’t make TV appearance,
2NE1′s comeback and TV appearance with “I Am The Best” are scheduled.
2NE1′s new song release combined with TV appearance has been approximately 9 months
from the last September when we released the 1st official album included “Can’t Nobody”, “Go Away”, “Clap Your Hands”, “It hurts” and others.
The M/V of “I Am The Best” is filmed by director, Seo Hyun Seung and
it will be released at the same time of the song release which is coming June 24th 00:00 AM.
2NE1′s EP, Expected Release Date..
Currently, 2NE1′s EP release date is expected to July 21st.
In this album, two or three new songs will be added
with the previously released songs, “Don’t Cry”, “Lonely” and “I Am The Best”.
As this album has prepared for a long time it will include various plans
but will get back to you soon with more details.
2NE1′s The First Exclusive Concert..
It will be held on August 27 and 28th, total twice
at “Olympic Hall” located in the Jamsil Olympic Park.
After a long construction period, “the Olympic Hall” transformed into
a specialized performance hall and the expected attendance is about 4,000 seats per 1 show.
Comparing to previous concerts held in YG, it is not pretty big
but since it’s the first concert after debut, rather than greed,
will try to focus more on the show which can interact with fans and
have great fun more closely.
Expected ticket open date is July 7th and more details
will be announced through YG and 2NE1 website on early next week.
More News..
The airdate of “2NE1 Season 3″ has not fixed yet and
YG ON AIR which aired on every Friday, total 6 times,
will be proceeded in the form of guerilla whenever there is a good idea
as intended for the first time planning.
2NE1′s official activities with EP album beginning with “I Am The Best”
will be led by the end of August and as 2NE1′s the first exclusive concert is over,
they will go to Japan on early September for about 2 months
to make Japanese debut and proceed the first promotion.
