News: Dara celebrates 2NE1’s two year anniversary
In celebration of 2NE1’s two year anniversary, member Dara left a special message for their fans through her official Me2day.
On May 17th, she wrote, “Congratulations 2NE1’s birthday!!! ^.^ Today! is! 2NE1’s two year anniversary!!! Clap clap clap!!! Everyone must be listening to ‘Lonely‘ a lot! Explosive gratitude! So touched! I love you! ^.^”
She continued, “Even when hardships come our way, let’s pool our strengths together and take them on side by side~ We’ll always be with you with good music, impressive performances, and a genuine heart! 2NE1, let’s play!!!”
Fans commented, “10 years, 20 years, and more than 50 years from now, let’s be together~”, “2NE1’s popularity is soaring through the sky!”, and “Let’s all run!”

[TRANS][NEWS] 2NE1 New Song ‘Lonely’ Revealed to the Public on the Midnight of May 12th!
2NE1 that always showcases strong electronic sounds, magnificent clothes, powerful performances in their choreography all sent those aside as the new song ‘Lonely’ revealed.
President Yan Hyunseok already said that ‘Lonely‘, “Auto-tune was not used at all this time.” and clarified it ahead that, “It is a tune with an analog sensibility of 100%”.
The ‘Lonely’ song resolute the use of drum beats, and instead, the tune was progressed out of stringed instruments. YG also clarified that this is the song that will surface 2NE1 members vocal prowess and individuality.
“We consider and expect to showcase 2NE1 attractive skill as a singer like in their past album’s songs ‘It Hurts’ and ‘I Don’t Care’ and by mixing reggae ends up using this tune.”
‘Lonely’ attract listeners by their powerful vocals , though there are some raps that done by CL, it is the rhythm that will make the public more feel the song.
Sandara send this rhythm of integrity as she set the coolness feelings of the song contrary to the heavy voice of Bom, giving the four color vocals of the song.
In the Music video, it shows the night view of Seoul City harmonizing the analog sensibility that added to the charm of feeling the music as alive.
On the other hand, 2NE1 plans to reveal new songs every three weeks.

‘Lonely’s a very captivating song and all the 2NE1 girls sang with so much emotions. They all sounded really great! Another hit from 2NE1! 🙂 And I love Dara’s parts in the song, I just wish they were longer but Goddess D definitely nailed it! Dara’s voice is so sweet and melancholic, just perfect and it leaves a very lasting impression. Gorgeous Goddess D, ‘really proud of you 🙂
