[해리슨의 엔터~뷰 (Enter-View)] Many fans were excited to hear that South Korea’s top girl group 2NE1 and the officially debuted ex-contestant of Superstar K KANG SEUNG YOON will both appear on KBS’s Music Bank. For a while YG Entertainment’s artists were not seen on any of KBS’s channels, so their recent news on long-awaited KBS appearance must have quenched the thirst of many music fans.

Fans were especially waiting with much patience for 2NE1, as after their last summer’s big digital single hit ‘I LOVE YOU’, the group only focused on holding a world tour.

Fortunately, after CL’s (the leader of the group) successful solo debut, 2NE1 kicked off their return to the music market with the reggae-influenced ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ in summer 2013. They proudly moved on to sweep across music ranking programs like MBC’s Show! Music Center, SBS’s Inkigayo and Mnet’s M Countdown.

2NE1 also made an appearance on variety shows like ‘Hwashin’ and ‘Running Man,’ attempting a great transformation since they were only focused on music-related activities until now. Many viewed them as ‘unapproachable’ in the past, but now they have successfully metamorphosed into ‘clumsy but lovely and cute’ idols.

‘DO YOU LOVE ME’, which was released on August 7, ranked number 1 as soon as its music video and the song were released. 2NE1 is in the midst of unleashing their full potential.

Their latest song is a summer-targeted one with exciting and rhythmic beat to it. It will succeed 2NE1’s previous summer big hits ‘GO AWAY’ and ‘I AM THE BEST’. All eyes are on the girl group now as they are having their first national television performance on Music Bank for the first time in 3 long years.

2NE1 will also be returning to ‘Yoo Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook’ in 4 years, a program on which G-DRAGON and MINZY appeared on October 19 last year. This is nothing but exciting news to the fans.

We hope to see more of 2NE1 on different programs, after their long-awaited ‘field trip’ to KBS soon, and of course other YG’s musicians as well.

The sensational journey begins now for 2NE1 who is heating up the music world this summer.

Due to low demand, exclusive concerts are not even an option for many girl groups in the South Korean music market, thus 2NE1’s ability to do so holds much significance. The group even carried out a world tour with Live Nation, the number one overseas event organizing company, as the first South Korean female artist.

2NE1 is releasing a new song every month from July to October, starting with their big hit ‘FALLING IN LOVE.’ Their August song ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ topped major music charts immediately after the release, and is maintaining its popularity by staying in the top range of music chart ranks.

In the SBS ‘Inkigayo’ aired on 11th, 2NE1 sang ‘Do You Love Me.’ 2NE1 emphasized cute side of them wich drew attention of the viewers.

CL was lovely with pink polka dot outfit. Dara had her hands under her face making cute face. Bom and Minzy always made fun faces on stage.

‘Do You Love Me‘ is a song with exciting beat blended well together with member’s voice. YG Entertainment‘s main producer TEDDY wrote and composed the song.

Currently 2NE1 is being active with their career with the song ‘Do You Love Me.’ Especially, they are confirming their reputation of a charismatic performance group by staging live with great singing ability.

Moreover, video with MR erased was uploaded online and 2NE1 got a lot of compliment on their stable live.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 is continuing with their career strategy of releasing a new song every month. In KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’ aired on 9th, 2NE1 sang ‘Do You Love Me‘ released on 7th. On stage, 2NE1 exuded special charm of their own wearing uniquely designed outfit.

Even the mikes were used as props. CL had yellow mike, Minzy had blue, Dara had red, and Bom had green, grabbing attention of the viewers.

2NE1 overwhelmed the audience with their charisma by performing powerful choreography from the start to the end. They staged different performances with some cuteness added in the middle.

2NE1 has already grabbed attention earlier by emphasizing their friendly image in the music video of ‘Do You Love Me.’

2NE1 has been striving to present high quality music videos and they invested a lot for the direction of them. However, music video of the song ‘Do You Love Me‘ is in the center of attention since it is quite different from the previous videos. In fact, members have filmed the video themselves and the video actually tried to convey the feeling of old camera, which was rather a new concept.

‘Do You Love Me‘ is a song with cheerful beat and 2NE1 member’s unique voice blended well together.

YG’s 2NE1 (consisting of members CL, BOM, DARA and MINZY) and KANG SEUNG YOON made an appearance live on KBS 2TV’s music ranking program, Music Bank, in the afternoon of August 9.

On the same program, 2NE1 unveiled the new song ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’. The new song is co-produced by three producers Teddy, DEE.P., and Lydia, which is written by Teddy. The song describes a feeling of a woman in love wondering whether that love is reciprocal.

2NE1 showcased their addictive beat and lyrics with a unique outfit of belt print. Their individualistic and free performance dominated the stage.

KANG SEUNG YOON, who not long ago released his debut song ‘WILD AND YOUNG’, demonstrated his strong rocker charms to his fans.

It is the first time in 3 years since YG artists made an appearance on Music Bank in 2010. Until now YG and KBS publicly announced that there are is no friction between the two, but many assumed the announcement false when no YG artists performed on KBS’s music show.

At Music Bank, other artists like Beast, f(x), Lee Jeong-hyun, EXO, Vixx, M.I.B., Children of Empire, B.A.P., Lim Jeong-hee, Tasty, and Sunny Days were present to deliver dynamic performances.

On 8th 2NE1 appeared on ‘M!Countdown’ and sang ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ passionately, the song released on 7th. This day, their appearance was special from the start. They wore unconventional costume made out of scarves showing off their unique charm.

As soon as the song started 2NE1 led the stage with powerful choreography. In parts in the group dance, there was also adorable dance adding the over the top performance.

At 10AM 2NE1 returned with a new friendly image via their MV ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ grabbing everyone’s attention. After few hours they made their presence with exceptional performance on stage.

2NE1 always tried to make luxurious high quality MV putting billions of money in. However, this time ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ was different from what they used to do in MV. Members video taped themselves like a home video using box camera on purpose showing a lot of effort, and the outcome was fresh.

‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ was composed by YG’s main producer Teddy showing fast beat with all members individual vocals in harmony.

2NE1 will be now appearing on KBS 2TV ‘Music Bank’, MBC ‘Music Core’ and SBS ‘The Music Trend’ actively pomoting their new song.

2NE1 once again swept across all music charts with their new song ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’.

The latest song released at noon of August 7 has been (currently at 4 p.m.) ranking the top on a total of 8 music charts including Melon, Olleh, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Naver, Daum and Monkey 3.

‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ is a fun song that creates a harmony with every 2NE1 member’s voice – all written and composed by YG Entertainment’s main producer Teddy.

Along with the song release at noon today, 2NE1 entertained the eyes of many viewers by releasing their choreography video at the same time. 2NE1 members’ dynamic dance moves and energetic live performance captured in the video clip aroused much interest.

Starting from their release of ‘FALLING IN LOVE’ this July, 2NE1 is scheduled to release a new song every month until October, so a total of 4 new songs. Girl group 2NE1‘s new song, “Do You Love Me” has gained much attention in not only Korea, but all over the world.

Their new song was released on August 7 online and received huge interest.

One day after its release on August 8, it was ranked number 1 on 6 countries iTunes charts including Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam. It was ranked number 1 on the ‘Singles Songs’ category of the iTunes Main Single Chart.

It was also seen at number 4 in Hong Kong and Thailand, number 10 in Cambodia and many other countries in the ‘Top 10’.

“Do You Love Me” was also seen at number 198 on the U.S. iTunes Main Single Chart.

On 8th at 10 AM 2NE1 ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ music video was released on official youtube channels and homepage. 2NE1’s management company YG Entertainment representative Yang Hyun-suk lent his summer house in Jeju Island. Here 2NE1 filmed themselves having a pillow fight and comic dancing. Also in the MV they had a luxury pool party and they were enjoying themselves.

First in indoors shoot, 2NE1 had a pillow fight full of cotton. Eventually the pillows broke shedding cottons all over. They also hang a balloon around their neck and went into a bath tub looking whimsy. Dara Park even clings to a window ledge and acts as if she is riding a bike.

In a pool party scene, entertainer Noh Hong-chul appears. He shows off his trade mark dirty dance surrounded by 2NE1. Dara’s little brother, MBLAQ’s Thunder, also appears taking everyone by surprise.

‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ is a song just right for summer with a fast beat. Previously members already released teasing promos from their MV which arouse higher expectations. They grabbed attention by throwing off the charisma and revamping their image to girl next doors with a candy-colored persona.

2NE1은 will start out on Mnet ‘M!Countdown’ and then KBS 2TV ‘Music bank’, MBC ‘Music Core’, SBS ‘The Music Trend’ to perform ‘DO YOU LOVE ME’ on stage.
