[OSEN=황미현 기자] 2NE1 topped M! Countdown following Inkigayo, and they thanked YG CEO YANG HYUN-SUK and TEDDY.

 At M.net M! Countdown at 6 p.m. on Mar. 20, 2NE1’s “COME BACK HOME” was placed first.

 MINZY, with a trophy in her hand said, “I thank CEO YANG for making a fabulous song and I also thank TEDDY.” She added, “I feel grateful to our fans, the BLACKJACK!”

 BOM kept her promise by doing tumbling, and showed off her flexible movement.

 On Mar. 16 at SBS Inkigayo, 2NE1 competed against Girls’ Generation and won, winning the first prize. BOM at the time thanked her company and fans in tears, which made the headlines.

 At M! Countdown, Girls’ Generation ranked third, following 2NE1 and Orange Caramel.

 Various artists appeared on the show today, and those include Lunafly, JJCC, Billion, Boys Republic, BESTie, BTS, TROY, Park Soo-jin, CNBLUE, ORANGE CARAMEL, 2NE1, Toheart, Im Chang-jeong and 4Minute.

[OSEN=선미경 기자] The title song of 2NE1’s regular second album, “COME BACK HOME” ranked first for 2 consecutive weeks on the Digital Chart of GAON CHART.

According to the GAON CHART, in the fourth week of Mar. (from Mar. 9 ~ Mar. 15), “COME BACK HOME” ranked first again, following last week. Soyou and Junggigo’s “Some” is also recording second on the Digital Chart for 2 consecutive weeks, now.

LYn’s “Miss You…Cry,” which ranked third on the Digital Chart, was ranked first on the GAON Download Chart with 129,980 downloads.

On the Digital Chart, Girls’ Generation’s “Mr. Mr.”, CNBLUE’s “Can’t Stop” and ORANGE CARAMEL’s “Catallena” were ranked 4, 5 and 6, respectively.

In addition, Busker Busker’s “Cherry Blossom Ending,” which is the title song for its first album released on Mar. 2012, ranked 18.

[스타뉴스 이지현 기자] 2NE1 (DARA, CL, MINZY AND BOM) released a photo they took with You Hee-yeol, which was mark their appearance in his show “You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook” at KBS 2TV channel.

DARA wrote in her Twitter on Mar. 19 that she really likes the program, as there are good music and frank talks in the show.

She also added with a picture, “We did something ‘sorry’ for Hee-yeol. If you wanna know what happened, find out on Friday at ‘You Hee-yeol’s Sketchbook.’”

The photo shows how friendly the members and You Hee-yeol are. CL had laid her head on You Hee-yeol’s shoulder, which was eye-catching.

On Mar. 18, 2NE1 recorded the show in the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido of Seoul. The recording will be broadcast on Mar. 21, 12:20 a.m.

Recently, 2NE1 made a comeback with their regular second album, “CRUSH.”

[OSEN=Kwon Ji Young] The choreography video of ‘GOTTA BE YOU’, the double title song of a girl group 2NE1’s regular 2nd album, is revealed.

The choreography video of ‘GOTTA BE YOU’ was posted on YG Entertainment(YG) YG official blog at 9pm on March 17th and got the attention of the fans.

In the revealed video, 2NE1 is showing off a free charm with the training outfit and casual outfit that is full of individuality. 2NE1 is gathering attention with another refreshing and cheerful charm that is different from powerful and charismatic sides shown when they are on the stage. They presented a memorable choreography by expressing the chorus ‘GOTTA BE YOU’ with a hand gesture.

Especially in the intro of the song, they conveyed the detailed expression of emotions with the stage production that is like as if they are talking to one another. In the end of the dance, the entire members shouted ‘GOTTA BE YOU’ towards the camera with facial expressions that is full of naughtiness and added lovely charms.

The fans who saw the choreography video said “2NE1 choreography video is too lovely”, “The refreshing sides that is different from ‘COME BACK HOME’ is felt”, “The hand gesture and the looks in the eyes in the final part is the best” and “No wonder they are 2NE1” and so on and showed hot reactions.

‘GOTTA BE YOU’ is a song that the producers Teddy and PK worked together with and is a song that has characteristics of appealing to public as it has cheerful tempo and also Minzy and Bom’s main part melody powerfully shouting ‘GOTTA BE YOU’ approaches in a very impressive way. With such positive points, this song was chosen as the double title song along with ‘COME BACK HOME’.

The intro is made up of unique synth sound and rhythmical rapping and the latter part of the song mixed an exciting beat and an old school melody. It is a crossover genre dance song that added elements of trap and EDM.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 released the new album and not only holding active promotion activities in Korea, they will also meet with overseas fans in 12 cities of 9 countries such as Hong Kong, China and Taiwan and so on through the second world tour ‘ALL OR NOTHING’.

On Mar. 17, YG Entertainment reported that WINNER will take part in 2NE1’s world tour, starting from Hong Kong on Mar. 22 to Apr. 11 in China, and Apr. 26, 27 in Taiwan.

WINNER will appear in the opening of “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR.” WINNER has a fan base in many Asian countries such as Japan. YG reported that WINNER, which is preparing to make a debut, is appearing as guest in 2NE1’s concert to thank overseas fans in advance.

On Mar. 1 and 2, WINNER also appeared as guest in 2NE1’s Seoul performance in Seoul Olympic Park’s SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium. WINNER’s powerful dance and singing were all the more improved.

2NE1 is one of the seniors in YG who takes good care of WINNER. In the WINNER TV, 2NE1 said yes to WINNER’s request to appear as guest in their concert. As fans really liked WINNER’s stage in their concert, 2NE1 recommended WINNER as their overseas tour guest.

2NE1’s second world tour started on Mar. 1, 2 with Seoul concert, and will be held in 12 cities of 9 countries following in Hong Kong on Mar. 22, China and Taiwan.

Greeting fans eye to eye for the first time in three years, 2NE1 held a successful fan signing that left a lot of fans happy.

The fan signing allowed 110 people to actually meet the 2NE1 members and receive autographs from them, but in addition to the 110, large crowds surrounded the area, hoping to catch a glimpse of the group despite not being able to receive signatures.

2NE1 won the first place on a live TV music program Inkigayo which was held at the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Seoul, on March 16. They took the No. 1 spot for the first time on a TV music program after having a comeback performance with their 2nd regular album “CRUSH” at Mnet’s K-POP chart show called M Countdown on March 13.

 

2NE1 sang “COME BACK HOME” for their first performance, wearing charismatic outfits which reminded of female warriors, and commanded the stage with a powerful performance. Then, 2NE1 delivered a bubbly performance with another title track of the new album, “GOTTA BE YOU.”

 

When their name was announced as No. 1, 2NE1 shed tears of joy. DARA expressed her gratitude, saying, “I would like to sincerely thank YG Entertainment’s main producer Yang Hyun Suk for coming up with great choreography, TEDDY who is like a big brother to us, and our fans.” With 2NE1 winning the first place on Inkigayo, Korean girl groups entered into a fierce competition against each other because 2NE1 earned the No. 1 spot on Inkigayo while Girls’ Generation ranked first on all of the other TV music programs.

 

Starting with the K-POP chart show M Countdown on March 6, Girls’ Generation ranked No. 1 on all of the TV music programs they appeared; SBS’s Inkigayo on March 9, MBC Music’s Show!
