Fancam: Dara Filming for New Etude CF

Wow! I wonder what the concept of the new Etude CF is that has Dara sprawled all across the floor like that?! I think the scene was Dara tripped or something judging from the books right in front of her. Can’t wait to see the CF! Its so cute how the staff came rushing towards Dara after the take. I bet it was really cold judging from the number of blankets and jackets being wrapped around her. Despite this, Dara still kept on bowing and most probably thanking the staff for their trouble. ^^ If you guys notice, it was @spiffyhyosup who was talking to Dara at the beginning of the video. Thank you so much to the wonderful fanboys who shared the fancam with all of us! ^^

Photos: Exclusive 2NE1 Takes NYC Photoshoot from MTV Iggy

They’re here! The photos are finally here! Check out our exclusive photoshoot with Dara, CL, Bom, and Minzy, taken at the penthouse of the Mondrian hotel. The girls were in NYC for the MTV Iggy concert, their first step toward world domination.

A conventional shoot against a white paper backdrop takes an unpredictable turn as the girls tear through the staid setting and rush outside to the rooftop terrace. They look like giants, looming above the skyscrapers, silhouetted in incandescent golden rays as the sun slips behind the Manhattan skyline.

(They look like conquering heroes, but do you know the girls were actually freezing to death?)

Photo: 2NE1 with George Williams for NHK “Hot Asia”

It took me a while to figure out who George Williams was. ^_^ He was the one who interviewed 2NE1 for NHK “Hot Asia”. He is a “media star” in Japan and is considered one of the ground breaking leaders in new media in Japan. He is an MTV VJ, a DJ for InterFM and he also works in NHK.

Info: 2NE1 Nominated at the 9th Korean Music Awards

Once again, 2NE1 is nominated at the 9th Korean Music Awards. If you can recall, they won the “Best Dance and Electronic Album” award last year at the 8th Korean Music Awards (2011).

This year, 2NE1 is nominated in 2 categories for their song “I Am The Best” from their 2nd Mini Album. They are nominated for “Song of the Year” and “Best Dance and Electronic Song”. Other nominees for “Song of the Year” include IU for “Good Day”, Lee Seung Yeol for “Not Coming Back”, Metal and Wreckx for “Yes Yes Y’All”, “Chang Kiha & The Faces for “Another Relationship” and Cho Deok Hwan for “A Long Way Home”. Other nominees for “Best Dance and Electronic Song” include f(x) for “Danger”, Trampauline for “Little Animal”, Infinite for “Be Mine” and T-ara for “Roly Poly”.
