Fancam/Photos: 111024 Dara at Etude House Japan Opening Presentation (Part 2)
In the interview during the Etude House Japan opening, Dara said that because 2NE1 has such a strong image, and may even be a bit scary, it felt a bit disconcerting/embarrassing to shoot the cute Etude CFs. But then, she feels like a princess right after so she loves being all cute for Etude. She also says that her appearance for Etude is different from her image on-stage as a 2NE1 member. Interview/Magazine: 2NE1’s Short Interview On Smart Magazine

What is the kind of fashion that you like nowadays?
BOM: Shorts, it’s something that I wear throughout the entire year. (T/N: Meaning she likes shorts no matter what the season)
MINZY: I like vintage accessories that give off a military feel.
CL: For this season, I prefer fir items.
DARA: I’ve written before that I’m exploring different shirt styles that made me nervous, because before it was a bit difficult because I only bought shirts that were in big sizes. Ha ha!
What’s one thing that you want to experience in Japan?
MINZY: Gundam shop!
CL: I want to try eating lunch at Shinkansen.
BOM: Although it isn’t the right season for it, I want to try out nagashi noodles. (T/B: nagashi noodles or flowing noodles is popular during summer time)
DARA: I want to go to hot springs♪

1. JJ Shinohara is the Editor-in-Chief of JJ Magazine (Japan). He attended the Etude House Japan Opening Presentation earlier and was able to meet Dara-chan. He tweeted:
“Today, I met Dara-chan. She’s beautiful.”
A fan then asked him if he was able to meet 2NE1. JJ Shinohara said that, “No, only Dara-chan. She was wearing simple skinny jeans, but she’s really pretty and cute.” Moreover, the same fan tweeted him back saying, “For me, she leaves an impression like Takei Emi.” JJ Shinohara then said, ” Ah, I see. Well, I think she’s a beautiful woman. I think I’ve even become a fan (laugh).”
Note: Takei Emi is a Japanese model and actress.

Very early Surprise Birthday party prepated by people who love Dara!!!+.+ This year’s first birthday party! I guess they prepared since I will be in Japan at my birtday day.. Can I just say this? KOREAN BLACKJACKS ARE SO FREAKING SWEET!!!
We all know that earlier today, Dara flew to Japan to attend the Etude House Japan opening presentation. On the same day, Dara flew back to Korea. Oh My Goddess and other Korean Blackjacks were waiting for her at Gimpo International Airport in order to have an advanced birthday party surprise for her. They welcomed Dara with a cake, flowers and gifts! They are so sweet and Dara was really really happy! She was greeted not only by Dara-biased fans but other Korean Blackjacks as well! So sweet of all of them really!
I really wish that I can do something like this for her but since I live so far away, I try my best to support Oh My Goddess as much as I can. In order for Oh My Goddess to do more surprises for Dara’s birthday, let us all help them in their project/s! To know more, click here!
