News: 2NE1 Sandara Park’s Me2day Leaves Fans Speculating
Popular 2NE1 member. Sandara Park, updated her me2day today, which attracted a lot of attention from fans.
On April 16th, Sandara Park updated with, “Oh no! What happened to our home page?! I came to visit it…and now, our home page is crazy! YGFamily.com is going crazy…Who did this? Who made this happen? I’m sure the boss did not approve anything…Let’s do this crazy thing one more time!!! ^.^”
Prior to that, YG Entertainment has already started their teaser marketing strategy by not revealing anything concrete. (Oh! It’s a “marketing strategy” now? And here I thought it was just YG being eccentric. Crazy me!) YG Entertainment‘s official website currently shows a broken TV screen with lots of static. After a few moments, a black background with the words, “Let’s Go Crazy Once More” written in white comes out, which captivated the eyes of many fans.
If a user clicks it, they are redirected to a me2day blog, which says, “April 19th, 10AM.” YG Entertainment has not released any statement over this, saying that it is part of their marketing strategy, evoking more curiosity from their fans.
Sandara Park‘s me2day was visited by many netizens, who left comments like, “Looks like Gummy’s comeback is imminent,” “Please give a hint on Gummy’s comeback.“ (As much as I looooovveeee Gummy, I love 2NE1 more, so Imma ask, WHEN ARE THE GIRLS COMING BACK?!?!?!)

Random: Speculations… Speculations… :D
We rarely post speculations here but given the amount of anxiety and anticipation building up amongst us, fans, from the waiting (and quite endless, may I add) for 2NE1’s comeback and for Dara’s possible (still a rumor) solo projects (drama,etc.), we’ve taken the liberty to try to “analyze” (for lack of a better term) what Dara posted in her me2day a few minutes ago. 😀
Dara posted a link to the YGfamily website in her me2day. A black screen appears when you click on the link instead of the usual homepage (as seen in Dara’s me2day) and if you click the Korean characters written across the screen, it’ll lead you to this me2day link–> 030201
As of the moment, we have no idea what the translation for the hangul text is. (EDIT: According to an AllKPop article, it says “Let’s go crazy”… thanks to Lollipopgee for the tip) But, it’s quite interesting to note that via google trans, we got this:
It says… 19. 10 AM. In addition to that, the tagline of the me2day owner is “Let’s do this crazy.”
Could it be that something’s happening on the 19th of April, which is on Monday, at around 10AM? 😀 We can only speculate and wait. But our delusional minds and hearts really hope so.
04/17/10 UPDATE:
News articles from Korean news portals and international sites all point to the YGFam site teaser as Gummy’s (her name is said to be incorporated in the middle of the hangul text). Nevertheless, it was fun speculating 😀 And as goodluckshirt said, “ANY YG Family releases and lovin’ is good news.” 🙂 I totally agree. 🙂
