Big Bang, 2NE1, YG Family Will Be Attending ‘WIN’ Final Battle’s LIVE Broadcast
On the 23rd, YG Entertainment revealed that Big Bang, 2NE1, and Epik High as well as other YG artists will be attending the final battle that will be broadcasted live for YG’s rookie survival program, WIN.
‘WIN’ is YG’s tough training system where 11 trainees are divided into two teams of Team A and Team B, and engage through a process of fierce battles in order to debut. Team A consists of Song Minho, Kim Jinwoo, Lee Seunghoon, Nam Taehyun and Kang Seungyoon, making a total of five people. Team B includes B.I, Kim Jinhwan, Bobby, Song Yoonhyung, Gu Joonhwe, and Kim Donghyuk, making a total of six people. The group that will debut as ‘WINNER’ will be determined on the 25th.
In addition, the maknaes of the YG artists: Akdong Musician, Lee Hayi, and Bang Yedam will be having a collaboration for WIN’s final battle to sing Tamia’s “Officially Missing You”. In the 2nd battle, Team A’s rendition of the song that was broadcasted in the 7th episode was a hit sensation on the web.
In the first and second rounds of audience voting, Team A won with only narrow margins of votes. The final mission for the two teams are self-composition, dance, as well as having to put together their own different arrangement for the same tunes given by producer Teddy.
The final battle will be held live on the 25th will last for two hours, starting from 9 PM, and will be held at Seoul’s Songpa-gu in the Olympic SK Handball Stadium. Voting will begin simultaneously with the live broadcast with 60% counting for text message ballots, 20% for KakaoTalk and Fantasy Runner, and 20% for Daum.
The final ‘WINNER‘ will be determined by the preliminary 1st and 2nd rounds of voting counting for 20% each and added up to the last round that counts for 60%. Mnet, KM, Onstyle, and Olive, these four channels will be broadcasting simultaneously as well as from the Daum portal site.

A member of the new generation of pan-Asian international directors, John H. Lee makes films that are imbued with top-notch cosmopolitan sensibilities. Upon graduating from New York University Film School, Lee made his feature debut with “The Cut Runs Deep,” a poetic independent film about Asian youth gangs in New York City.
Since his successful debut, Lee has directed numerous international music videos and TV commercials in Asia and Europe. In 2004, Lee directed his second feature film, a love story, entitled, “A Moment to Remember.”. It was Lee’s first Korean-language film-a passionate, psychologically-complex, and emotionally-charged story about a man and a woman, two star-crossed lovers, separated by the slow loss of the woman’s memory. “A Moment to Remember” instantly became the highest grossing domestic film in the romance genre in the history of Korean cinema. Subsequently released in Japan the following year, “A Moment to Remember” has become the most successful Korean film ever in Japan, a record that is still standing to date. “A Moment to Remember” is considered a romance “masterpiece,” standing above all of the other romantic films in Asia.
After a long search for projects to expand his horizons, John H. Lee next took on an experimental challenge, his third feature film, titled “Sayonara Itsuka,” based on a Japanese novel of the same title.
For his forth opus, John H. Lee’ took another surprise turn. It was a historical Korean War epic, titled “71/ Into the Fire,” based on a true story about a group of 71 student soldiers fighting to protect a school during the outset of the “forgotten” Korean War in 1950.
