2NE1’S SONG DEFINITELY ADDICTIVE: RANKING #1 ON CHART AFTER CHART
[OSEN=최나영 기자] YG’s girl group 2NE1 swept across music charts on music programs of both national television and cable channel.
2NE1, in the evening of Nov 30, seized victory on MBC’s music program Show! Music Center with their newly released song ‘Missing You’, beating Davichi’s ‘Letter’ and Lee Juck’s ‘Lie Lie Lie’.
As 2NE1 was unable to attend the show, the MCs of the program received the award on behalf of the girl group.
Previous to this trophy award, 2NE1 also ranked #1 on a music program on a cable channel’s music program M Countdown on Nov 28, although airing of the show was cancelled. On Gaon Chart the same day, 2NE1’s new song topped Download and Digital categories when the rankings of the last week of November were released.
‘Missing You’ has brought a sensational wave to the music world immediately after its release on Nov 21, knocking down every chart it sees. The song comes to many as a winter song, that of sorrow and calm while addictive at the same time. 2NE1 kicked off their promotional activities with the release of the song, and starting in March next year, they will be touring around Seoul, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Japan to meet their international fans.

2NE1 Wins the Top Honor in ‘Music Core’ Even without Making Appearance
[OSEN= Choi Na Young] 2NE1 won the victory in ‘Music Core‘.
In MBC ‘Show! Music Core‘ aired on 30th, 2NE1‘s ‘Missing You‘ won the top honor defeating Davichi‘s ‘The Letter‘ and Lee Juck‘s ‘Lie Lie Lie‘.

2NE1 Unveils MV Making Film.. Full Of Sensitivity
[OSEN=Lim Young-jin] Popular group 2NE1 revealed their plaintive ‘Missing You‘ music video’s making film.
2NE1‘s agency YG Entertainment garnered attention with their ‘Missing You‘ music video making film revealed through official blog on 29th afternoon. For about two minute and 40 seconds the video features, members’ short interview and lively set atmosphere.
In the beginning of the making film, 2NE1 garnered attention with their fancy accessories, costumes, and shoes. Member Dara Park kindly noticed the beginning of film with her narration, “This is 2NE1 music video set. I feel a little awkard since its been a long time.”
The lively set was featured with members getting their make up done and the members monitoring their scenes. Also leader CL‘s naked performance which garnered attention appeared for a short time.
Minzy said she played the twenty year old girl missing her one sided love. Park Bom also shortly interviewed, “I cried a lot while I was recording the song. As I am filming the music video I still feel bad. It makes me sad.”
The well filmed ‘Missing You‘ music video featuring the lonesome sadness after break up also came up with calm melancholy making film. Especially CL high fived with her members and said “It was exhausting, but I might miss this some day.”
Meanwhile, 2NE1 recently released winter song ‘Missing You‘ full of sensitivity and is generating positive buzz. After promoting this song, they will be engaging with world wide fans in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and so on starting in Seoul next year March.
