Blackjacks were quick to notice that 2NE1 looked better than ever for their recent comeback and the group revealed their weight loss secrets.
During an interview, 2NE1 shared, “We prepared for our comeback with a rookie mindset and were determined to muster up all of our energy and do it together. We want to work hard in our promotions.”
Park Bom shared, “People only look at my legs. I wish they would look at other areas. That is why I worked hard to go on a diet for my top half. I tried to tone up my hip area but my members don’t have to work too hard to minimize their hips. That is why I decided to focus on my volume.”
Dara shared, “We were filled with passion this time around. There are workouts that we could only do with our trainer but after we came back home from the gym, we did 10 more sets. In the end, my abs were not pretty 11-character abs but more like a washing board. That is when I realized that I have to work out with an expert.”
Minzy also advised, “I don’t know if it’s because I am still young but I lost more baby fat. I decreased my intake of carbohydrates and focused on working out. There are times when I don’t eat anything at all when I go on a diet but if you decrease your intake of carbohydrates, you can eat a little bit and still lose weight.”
CL, who has been busy with her solo debut and 2NE1’s comeback, revealed how she stays grounded through it all: “Starting a year or two ago, I began to take 30 minutes out of my day to meditate. After I meditate, I felt like I can spend my day more peacefully and meaningfully. It is a time to invest in myself. A little while after my debut, I realized that I need to take time for myself. Sometimes I meditate in my car for the times when I’m really busy.”

Korean girl group 2NE1 has confirmed their appearance on SBS’s hit variety show “Running Man.”
2NE1 finished shooting “Running Man” at their agency YG Entertainment’s office building on Tuesday, the producer of the program told TenAsia on Thursday.
The show was recorded at four different locations and YG’s building was one of the locations they shot at in order to complete a mission.
Since the recording took place at the agency’s building, other artists of YG such as Akdong Musician, Girls’ Generation Taeyeon and Big Bang made a short appearance as well, according to the producer.
2NE1’s Gong Minzi also posted a photograph of herself with 2NE1’s Park Bom, and “Running Man” regular hosts Yoo Jae-suk and Lee Kwang-soo, saying, “Yoo Jae-suk, Lee Kwang-soo, Bom and I are Pink!”
While Minzi and Bom teamed up with Yoo and Lee, Sandara Park and CL teamed up with “Running Man” members Gary and Haha as the orange team.
The episode with 2NE1 will go on air in late July.

2NE1’s New Song Tops TV Music Chart Show for the First Time; M Countdown Cancelled the Show Due to Schedule

2NE1, a girl group made up of 4 members (CL, DARA, BOM and MINZY), ranked the top for the first time on a TV music chart show with its new song “FALLING IN LOVE”.
On July 18, 2NE1 became the winner of the music chart show “M Count Down”. The show airs live every Thursday afternoon but the July 18 show was cancelled because of Mnet’s “20’s Choice” awards ceremony.
But when Lee Soo Hyuk and Hong Jong Hyun were on the stage during the ceremony, they said that the audience would soon be able to meet M Count Down’s July 18 show’s winner. As soon as they said it, CL, the leader of 2NE1, showed up on the stage and sang “THE BADDEST FEMALE”, which was released in June as a solo. Right after her performance, rest of the 2NE1 members joined her on the stage and sang FALLING IN LOVE with the winner’s trophy on their hands because FALLING IN LOVE was the M Count Down’s winner of the day.
Right after its release on July 8, the reggae style dance music has been sweeping No.1 on many music charts both at home and abroad but this was the first time to be at the top on a major TV broadcaster’s music chart show.
Meanwhile, CL was also awarded 20’s Choice Style award at the ceremony, which was held in Ilsan KINTEX, Gyeonggi from 7 p.m.

DARA posted a photo on her me2day on July 17, along with a loving message for the rookie star, “SEUNG YOON, you are AWESOMEEE!! Go SEUNG YOON.”
In the photo, DARA holds a banner that says “YG sisters care for you, SEUNG YOON,” rooting for the YG’s youngest artist. BOM also roots for KANG SEUNG YOON in a unique and fun way by lying down on the floor using the banner as a blanket.
On July 16, KANG SEUNG YOON released a song from his new mini album, ‘IT RAINS.’ The new song has topped major music charts for two consecutive days now.
Fans on the Internet have posted comments like “DOUBLE PARK supports KANG SEUNG YOON, how nice,” “I envy KANG SEUNG YOON,” and “With the support from DOUBLE PARK, I think KANG SEUNG YOON is on course for a huge success.”
