2NE1, entered top 10 in America’s iTunes album chart..’Power’

[OSEN=Hwang Mi Hyun] A group 2NE1 showed the power of entering into top 10 of America’s iTunes comprehensive album chart.

2NE1 entered into top 10 with the new album ‘CRUSH’ on the comprehensive album chart that America’s iTunes released on the afternoon of February 27th(Korean time). Including Kid Cudi, 2NE1 joined the group of famous stars such as Beck, who got the grand award in Grammy Awards, and Romeo Santos and so on.

2NE1 released the new album ‘CRUSH’ at midnight on this day, and with the double title songs ‘COME BACK HOME’ and ‘GOTTA BE YOU’, they showed the dignity of completely dominating 1st place in all music websites in Korea.

They created sensation in Korea’s music market and at the same time, they are standing out in global music market so they predicted the sensation toward this album.

‘COME BACK HOME’ is a dance song with a crossover genre that mixed several genres of reggae and hip hop. Especially, the restoring-the-old melody was added to the sound that can be calmly heard at the intro and took care of well-refined beauty and addictiveness. Also in the latter half, it added freshness by giving a twist with EDM trap.

In this album, the leader CL took part in writing the lyrics and composing the song of total 3 songs such as ‘CRUSH’, ‘IF I WERE YOU’ and ‘BABY I MISS YOU’ and wrote the lyrics for her solo songs ‘MTBD’ and ‘SCREAM’.

Meanwhile, 2NE1 will present the performance of new song in regular 2nd album for the first time during the second world tour Seoul performance that will take place at Seoul Olympics Park SK Olympics Handball Stadium from March 1st to 2nd.
