She really love movies — what if daralings/blackjacts from Asia (or all over the world) suggest the best chickflicks from their country and then give it to her as a bday gift?! I dont have money to buy one but i have tons of movie suggestions…

1) THAI – Crazy Little Thing Called Love
2) JAPAN – From Me To You
3) HONGKONG – Turn Left Turn Right
4) TAIWAN – You Are The Apple Of My Eye
5) CHINA – Sophie’s Revenge
6) PHILIPPINES – Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw, Got2Believe, Forevermore, Till There Was You, (She might have seen these but don’t know if she owns a copy in dvd/vcd)

And since she’s young at heart, she might also enjoy watching some Studio Ghibli films (Howl’s Moving Castle, The Borrower Arrietty, Ponyo, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, etc) or other cute & inspiring animes like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Wolf Children, In The Forest Of The Fireflies Light.

I hope they Dara would not rely on some of those movies as inspiration for a relationship with someone. Movies here in the Philippines are really cheesy and so far from realistic. Just saying.
