News: Lady Collection’s Jieun is Dara’s mentor?

New rookie girl group Lady Collection’s leader Jieun (JC), revealed in a recent interview that she’s close with 2NE1‘s Sandara Park and was once her mentor!

Jieun, who had been training under YG Entertainment from 2003-2007 and was part of their label until this January, had grown close with fellow trainee, Sandara Park.

Jieun said,

“Because of the age difference I wasn’t really her friend but more of an older sister as I cheered her on. But now it’s the other way around as she cheers me on. And because I used to give her vocal lessons, it feels more special.“

She also spoke about her former fellow trainee’s recent success,

“She’s doing better than I thought she would and that makes me proud. Sandara Park is really determined and her long practice period really paid off with her face acting/expressions improving too. And of course she’s become even more beautiful and healthy.“

News: Sandara Park reveals her thoughts about Park Bom’s solo single ‘You And I’

2NE1 Sandara Park reveals her feelings about fellow member Park Bom’s solo single release.

Sandara Park wrote on her me2day page on 28th October together with a capture of Park Bom’s MV,

“Daebak…?? Bommie’s song has really touched my heart… The MV is really pretty”

She continued,

“It was very touching and brings tears to the eyes.. Kya~ Thinking about that, we don’t really have a love song.. It’s been long since I last have this kind of feelings.. I suddenly have the wish to be in love!!! Dangerous for DalOngie!!ke ke ke”

Meanwhile, Park Bom released her solo digital single ‘You and I’ on 28th October. This fulfills Park Bom’s wish for a solo song after 6 years of training under YG Ent. The song is written by YG Ent producer Teddy.

And the song is currently #1 on various real time charts online.

News: 2NE1 and MBLAQ + Sibling Love

As reported earlier, 2NE1 will be performing in the Superstar Power of Love Concert on October 31st at the Seoul Olympic Stadium which also features superstar Rain. And since fellow super rookie MBLAQ was included in the line-up, will a 2NE1-MBLAQ collab be possible?Oh…fingers crossed!

Thunder stated to a Newsen reporter:

“It will be the first time for me to appear on the same stage as my sister. I’m very happy.”

It has been revealed that Rain will take the stage that day and a match between him and MBLAQ will unfold.

Meanwhile,  on the same interview, Thunder was asked a lot about her sister.

“What did your sister, Sandara Park, say about MBLAQ‘s performance?” To this question, he answered,

“She complimented me saying that we’re getting better each performance.“

Thunder also expressed his thankfulness towards his sister by stating,

“My sister keeps texting me, asking where I am. She also monitors my performances a lot.“

For another Thunder update, he just signed an endorsement deal with the Wonder Girls for Cafe Mori! Congrats Thunder!

MBLAQ‘s agency, J.Tune Entertainment stated:

“One of MBLAQ’s members, Thunder, has signed an advertising deal with Cafe Mori. As a rookie, the amount of money he/J Tunes will receive through this deal is unthinkably high.”

News: Thunder playing matchmaker to his noona Dara

On a recent NEWSEN interview with MBLAQ, Thunder was asked who he thought would be a good match for his dear sister Dara. And obviously, dongsaeng only wants the very best for his dear noona —” As much as Rain is a top celebrity, I think he and Dara will match.”

“Continuing on with Thunder’s individual interview, he was asked, “Is there a person you would like to introduce your sister to?” However, even before the reporter finished asking the question, MBLAQ members started to ramble off about who they thought was ‘right’.

In response to the reporter’s question, Thunder answered, “G.O.” At first, he replied with this response because he thought G.O’s humor would be perfect for Dara. However, he quickly changed his mind and replied, “Come to think of it, Rain hyung would be better. As much as Rain is a top celebrity, I think he and Dara will match.”
