Video:[UPDATED] Lee Hwi Jae is a Sandara Park fanboy?

Lee Hwi Jae is a comedian, MC and actor. He starred in dramas like SBS ‘Banjun Drama’, MBC ‘Lawyers’ etc…and shows from MBC’s Sunday Sunday Night like ‘We Got Married’ and ‘Hunters’.

Basically, the question was which star would they like to see this Lunar holiday (?)

Lee Hwi Jae answered “I am hoping for 2NE1’s Sandara Park.”

Then he says “Yang Hyun-Suk hyung, we’ve been friends for 10 years. Please do me a favor and let her come out with me (its unclear whether it’s “with me” or “”a show with me”, but whatevs)”

Then he ends it with a serious expression, “Sandara Park, you suit me,” or something to that effect, making the MCs and that one lady (who is also an MC and actress) laugh out loud.

News: U-Kiss ideal types revealed!

Coming back with ‘Bingeul Bingeul’, U-Kiss (Alexander, Kibum, Dongho, Soohyun, Eli, Kevin and Kiseop) reveal their ideal types on ‘U-Kiss’ Vampire’.

U-Kiss’ maknae Dongho, who has been getting a lot of love from nunas, chose between the top stars of Korea easily, showing his honest character, which is distinctive of a Type B.

Videos: [Updated] Dara’s Name Mentioned @ Star Golden Bell + Fanboyssssss

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon mentioned Dara around 1:37 in the 5-G-B Survival game vid… and he also makes a familiar hand move around 2:29. =)

Joon has also mentioned Dara as an ideal girl before in one of MBLAQ’s radio guestings— posted HERE where he was asked to choose between Mir’s and Thunder’s sisters.  He initially chose Mir’s sister because they’re close, but then he added that Dara is an ideal girl… teasing then ensued… unfortunately, the vid link is no longer working; will update this post as soon as “EVIDENCE” is found.

Feature: Dara’s Co-star Wishlist :D

When the news of Dara signing with YG first came out, my first and most fervent wish had been for Dara to be loved and appreciated by the Korean audience. My second wish had been more selfish — I wanted to see her act in her own language. Since the first seems to be true, much to my surprise (because I hadn’t thought they would embrace her as hugely as they have) and complete delight (because YAY Dara is awesome and she deserves the love!), I am now waiting on my second wish.

I specifically wanted to see her in a series. If not as a main character, then a semi-main supporting character. You know how K-series work — there’s always a main guy and/or girl, then everyone else kind of revolves around the two. So as long as she was in that circle, for more than a single episode (LOL), then my wish is granted. Haha.

Because of this, I made a list of 10 Korean actors and actresses that I wanted Dara to work with at some point. Heehee. Feel free to make your own lists in the comments, because this is fun! I promise! And besides, this list is my bias, as well, so I’m sure you all have your own thoughts on the matter. So have a go go go! 😀

I’m not including obvious choices, people she’s already worked with at some point no matter how small the interaction or people in the same company, because obvious choices are obvious. Hahaha. We all know who they are, and we all cherish hopes of seeing the obvious choices reunite with Dara on something we can own copies of. LOL. However, I will list them, without explanation at the bottom. 😀 Also a handful of my runners up.

Fanboy: Theatre Guy is Unearthed :)!

There were discussions on the chatbox and we were trying to remember all of our lovely Dara’s fanboys and we said that we would try to track down one of Dara’s early fanboys that I just remembered as “theatre guy.” Funnily enough, because I really needed to rest my brain while I was at work, I managed to approximate timelines and backpage the soompi thread to find him 🙂 Hehe.

The who is Jung Suk? Here’s a little background of him from KBS World

Place of birth : Seoul
Height : 184cm
Weight : 63kg

Despite his youth, 19-year-old Jung Suk is musically mature enough to interpret his first title song, “What Women Can’t Say and Men Don’t Know,” just the way its songwriter intended. Perhaps that’s why his song, “Half Love,” was chosen as the ending theme song in the hugely popular historical drama, “The Nation of the Wind.” He is the most sought-after newcomer in the music industry, although he had never appeared on TV until this August. He’s so well-known among other established artists that he’s been invited to take part as a guest or featuring voice in many of their concerts and albums. It’s only a matter of time before Jung Suk’s immense talent is fully appreciated by the public.

Fanboy: The Art of Delicate Fanboying by Park Hae Jin

This post took forever because I had to make caps, and with my wonky connection it was tough to gain access to the vids I wanted. Don’t ask why anymore. LOL. Also, added the new tag for Fanboy as was discussed in the chatbox. I figured there was no better time to add it.

Park Hae Jin manages to maneuver around the requisite family photo to stand behind Dara. Covert mission accomplished, fanboy. Congratulations! Have an obnoxious purple heart around the photo of the two of you. Kekeke!

I love Dara’s fanboys, with the number one reason is that I have a theory stating:  Fanboying Dara = Fanboying many things I approve of = Good taste.  LOL. Park Hae Jin happens to be one of my fave Dara fanboys, so I paid extra attention to the episodes and I thought it would be fun to keep an eye out on what he would do. 🙂

News: Chun Jung Myung is a fanboy?

This news isn’t that new anymore but it’ll surely put a sweet smile on your face. Because oh yes, another fanboy! But we’d rather put him in the Unofficial Fanboy category since he didn’t actually confess that Dara is her ideal girl.  Anywho, he. is. cute!

Excerpts from the Article:

Chun Jung Myung held a fanmeeting for his 30th birthday (it also served as a celebration of his release from active service in the army) on the 29th with around 200 of his fans in Gangnam, Seoul. Fans from other countries such as Japan and China also showed up in great force along with Korean fans.

During the fanmeeting, he revealed a few things:

  • In the locker he was assigned to during his military service, he pinned up the following pictures of female celebrities: Figure skater Kim Yun Ah, comedian Shin Bong Sun, 2NE1 member Sandara Park, After School member (and now actress) Uee, actress Shin Min Ah, and Japanese actress Yuu Aoi.
  • He is planning on choosing his next project ASAP, and expressed his desire to act in a film noir. He hinted that we will all be able to see him beginning his activities again by January. He also promised to continue acting without rest for the next ten years.
