Sandara Park, Chosen as Philippines Audition Show Judge
Group 2NE1 member Sandara Park has been chosen as a judge in a Philippines audition program.
Sandara Park will be a judge in the Philippine show, ABS- CBN’s “Pinoy Boyband Superstar” expected to broadcast on September. She is expected to fly back and forth to the Philippines to shoot.
“Pinoy Boyband Superstar” is the Filipino version of the audition program, “La Banda” in the US, which started last year. Sandara Park will be one of the judges, alongside local celebrities Vice Ganda and Yeng Constantino.
Prior to taking up this challenge, Sandara Park said, “Having many different experiences from various places seems to be a good avenue to learn. I think that this experience will become a big help to me.”
She continued, “My dream for music was fostered at this place where I grew up, I’ve become who I am now because of the love that the Filipino people gave me though I wasn’t Filipino myself, because they gave me courage to pursue that dream, that’s why this place will always be special for me. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the fans in the Philippines who continued to love me without changing, for waiting all this time,” she added.
The program will be broadcasted on the Philippine channel, ABS-CBN, where Sandara Park did her debut activities, making this program even more special. Sandara Park participated in the 2004 audition program, “Star Circle Quest” being the only foreigner to join, although she finished second, she enjoyed immense popularity.
Aside from 2NE1 activities, local fans are giving a high response to Sandara Park and the Philippine audition program, and anticipation is expected to increase with the broadcast.
