Well i didn’t know apples love worms like YG. It was still on YG’s decision to let dara act, oh please. There are stockholders and most likely the YGK+ CEO fought her way to give Dara justice against YG, thank God for her. That old man knows nothing about his artists aside from hid faves GD , CL and B.I. Maybe its the start for more things for her , oh shut your trap you blind goody two shoes. You think Dara is still 20? Well sorry to burst your bubble but she’s already 30 and at that age she could’ve already sealed her spot as an actress cause despite looking younger than she is. The fact still holds true that it doesnt matter how YOUNG her face is for the korean industry. They will likely wanted ‘younger’ actresses for the new generation. But look! She is still grovelling like she is some rookie idol, even jisoo got a cameo and a lot of promotions than Dara as a senior and if that doesnt speak volumes to you then keep being deaf and blind.
Even Bom and Minzy are being left out, wasted talents all thanks to your GOD YG. Maybe you forgot how YG turned down ALL her offers when she was so in demand, and now that she lost most of her popularity she is being even more taken for granted. At this rate i wouldn’t be surprised if Jisoo just practically outrank her. Also take note how YG didnt have any future plans for 2ne1 well aside from CL. And she is the only one to get an exclusive solo contract too but oh well lets act indifferent. Dont worry, dara will never cry foul cause if youre really a fan, youll know how Dara is that kind and grateful to even the most undeserving people. I dont want myself live the day of regretting why i didnt fight for what my bias rightfully deserved.

Here’s what I don’t get- after waiting literally for 6 years for Dara to have any acting opportunities, she gets minor roles alongside with the likes of Kang seung hoon who just debuted last yer or something and jisoo who has yet to debut and is basically a nobody. I just can’t imagine the pressure dara must be feeling to do well to outshine all these juniors who basically have everything handed to then on a silver platter.

You’ve got to give it to dara for being humble and working her way up from the bottom but she’s from one of the biggest and most successful agencies in South Korea, you’re telling me she can’t land a leading role is a proper tv drama? If the other girl group members who can’t act to save their lives get to star in a tv drama and go on tv, running man, etc to promote it, what’s stopping yg from pulling some strings to help give Dara’s acting career a jump start?

In yesteryear you hear yg artists shoutout to YGFAMILY a lot. Now everyone is just caught up in their self centered pursuits. While Dara’s kind nature really shows in how she continually supports the artists of an agency who doesn’t treat her as best as she deserves, it makes me fing mad.

Now it seems like another endless wait till the next 2ne1 comeback. 2ne1 should be and could be dominating the music scene. They shouldn’t be sitting around waiting while cl goes rub shoulders with the scum of Hollywood.

Well someone’s not a happy camper. Let me point out some things: It’s not “all” thanks to him, but you have to at least give YG a credit. Am I giving him a benefit of the doubt? Maybe. Be rational at least. Even though K Plus merged with YG, Dara’s promotions and offers still goes under YG. The CEO of YG K Plus just widened her career path some more. I understand that you’re VERY mad but YG disrespecting Dara? I guess that’s a bit too much right there. We might not know what goes on behind the scenes but unless Dara cries foul, we can’t really make assumptions. She’s truly a gem that one can’t just put a price on but we can’t blow things out of proportions and get our facts straight. Just because Unnie tends to publicly support her “family” doesn’t mean they don’t support her. Just be happy for her though we all know she deserves WAY more. We can’t be too greedy. I’m sure this is just the beginning for her. Greater things will come for her.

All thanks to YG my ass! All thanks to him? That Dara wasn’t able to show her full potential on stage as an idol? She only had the chance because Jinusean invited her so we were able to see that he can slay the stage as well. YG just let her be seen as the ‘useless; visual. She wasn’t able to show the world how she was the best visual also that is why she was sooo left out interms of popularity to Suzy, Yoona and the rest, all thanks to YG. She was always given shit for hairstyles and outfit yet always kept CL in the best of them. Minzy and Bom were as much left out too. Argh! If there is someone we need to give thanks to it is NOT YG. But the YGK+ CEO because she was the one promoting Dara a whole lot better than YG did all these wasted years. If most of you want to act nice despite of Dara being neglected then im sorry but i aint taking any of that shit. Dara doesn’t deserve the kind of disrespect YG has been treating her. I will support her to the end and always be thankful to people who see the value of a gem she is like the YGK+ CEO.

Let’s not blow things out of proportion, guys. We should just hold our horses and chill. I know that it’s frustrating that Dara unnie gives a lot (promoting other YG artists) and gets nothing in return. That’s just her nature, she’s too kind-hearted for her own good. I’m sure they support her though they don’t show it publicly. And i’m sure that issue with CL, Dara unnie was just saying jokingly so let’s not put a lot of meaning to it. Let’s not forget that when unnie was a guest DJ for Volume Up, CL came to support her. YG tends to get biased at times but let’s not forget that it’s also thanks to him that our unnie’s got to have such opportunity to showcase her talents; that she’s more than just a “visual” of 2ne1. We really can’t do much about how YG manages its artists since he’s his own boss, all we can do is show our never-ending support for Dara unnie and 2ne1. As long as she’s happy and contented, I’m happy as well and will always support whatever she does want to do.

I feel it too! Dara attended YG artists concerts and even promotes them on Twitter and Instagram but when she’s doing Dr. Ian, not even one YG artist promoted her. T.T

To be honest I have become so immune to YG and YG’s artists lack of promotion for Dara. YG is so disgustingly bias that it just sickens me. Everyone knows that he loves GD and CL but yet when YG is promoting the company he uses Dara’s picture (which really irks me). Dara is just so selfless that I hope she is at least happy.

I am just so thankful that Dara is making new friends and connections which will open more doors for her (such a fan of that YGK CEO). This year has been great for Dara as she is finally given the opportunity to act. I feel really sorry for Minzy and Bom and hope that they are doing what they like.

I hope Dara will gain a spot as an actress so that people will see just how precious and talented she is. As being in 2NE1 might not be as important anymore…

You are so right Aloha Dara! Fcking finally! Someone who sees things rationally and not try to sugarcoat it. I was heavily dissapointed with YG most especially. He didn’t even gave her a Presscon while her dongsaeng had one! How freaking unfair is that? Seriously?! Its despicable! First he tried to hide her when Bom and Dara when they were was soooo famous and they just let her have ugly hairstyles and make-up that sooner people forgot that she was the visual & her more of a clown. Yep, she most of the time isn’t included on top 5 list of best visuals for 4 years now. YG doesnt even say anything nice about her , the last time was 2009. Imagine that?! And yes, its sad that the people she supports doesn’t even give her the same treatment. She is far too kind that i wonder if i should be happy with it or not. I remember blackjacks getting mad for not giving much support to CL when we actually did & she even won music shows, but now its Dara who needs support they all suddenly turned a blind eye at her.
