2NE1 Confirms First Japanese Full Album Release On March 28

Group 2NE1 confirmed that they would be releasing their first full album next month in Japan.

On the 3rd, popular music site Oricon Japan, said that 2NE1 would be recording and releasing a “Best Songs” album in Japan, title to be announced. In this album, there would be a Japanese original song included, and Japanese versions of their debut songs in Korea, “Fire” and “I Don’t Care.” There will be 10 songs included in the album, which will also contain previously released Japanese versions of the songs I Am The Best, Ugly, Go Away, and It Hurts. The album would be released on March 28.

Along with this album is a DVD, where a number of 2NE1 music videos would be put in.

Leader CL said, “I hope that our first album in Japan would go strong, and that Japanese fans would be pleased, we are working hard at making music that would be a happy surprise to the fans,” she finished.

Meanwhile, co-labelmate Big Bang would also be releasing a Japanese version of their album, Alive, on the same date, March 28.

    Do you think they’ll be doing any promo concert in Japan? I’m from the UK but I’m going to Japan from the 8th March to 19th April and seeing them live would be a dream come true ^-^
