Yay! Loved today’s I AM THE BEST performance on Inkigayo!
Dara’s hair was pretty weird, compared to her totally cute hairstyle last week, but then again, she pulled it off! She had a white pig-snout necklace, pretty much like the black one she always wore, and her clothes were from the MV. All of the girls wore their MV outfits I think. ^_^
And of course, Dara did the “OH MY GOD” in the end! Totally cute!
I was pretty worried about Minggki maknae though since her earlier tweet about her feeling like she’s losing her groove, was worrying, and it showed in her perf that she wasn’t as into it as from before. BUT, you can see her rise up from whatever internal conflict she had and pull off an amazing perf! So kudos to you maknae, fighting!

i think papa yg is doing that “rookie mindset” maybe he wants 2ne1 to feel what it is to lose at music shows again to get them to work harder…not that the girls aren’t doing that..coz everytime 2ne1 promotes they always win so maybe he just wants them to stay grounded as always to better prepare them for their japan debut..he wants them to enter japan with that “rookie” mindset ^.^
2NE1 always give their best performance onstage looking fierce & charismatic. They are the best alright and always meet the expectations of the fans in each of their performance. I also like Dara’s hair she reminds me of those Japanese manga character, same thing with Bommie. 2NE1 fighting!!! ^_^
Im sorry that i misunderstand them of winning..but im happy to hear 2ne1 are number one in other charts..please dont hate me for that. I love 2ne1. addendum: what is rookie pls? thank u.
They didn’t get the award but nobody is calling them losers eitherl!! Their album isn’t even out yet. The fact that their MV came out in the top 20 of most viewed videos not only in the US but in other countries as well is something you can’t scoff at!! Their kind of music is being appreciated all over the globe, so in my books, they’re WINNERS!!! 2NE1 is The BEST!!!
i guess there are a lot of new in kpop… there are percentage of points in every music shows and part of it are album sales(0 for 2ne1) and broadcast (little points for 2ne1).. for 2ne1 to win they need much points like what happened in lonely that’s why they won ’cause their points in digital sales are triple than beast.. they’re points(digital) against 2pm are higher but not enough to cover up for the percentage in album sales and broadcast.

although i want them 2 win, we can’t do about it since physical albums are really one of the criteria for them 2 win.. nonetheless, for me, it’s not really important as long as their no. 1 in different music charts and they are recognized in other countries.. so xcited for 2ne1 tv worldwide! can’t 2 see the thngs they did in the waiting room during broadcasts…
remember that YG’s and 2ne1’s goal is not winning any award, but to perform their music and introduce their kind of music, so don’t worry people, it’s not anybody faults

im more disappointed at so called “fans” that only support during “winning” .. for true blackjack, winning is not everything, seeing the girls on stage, happily performing for us is enough for me to love them. they are doing their part 110%, do we, fans, does our part of supporting them and streaming and buying them legally? i know i do.
On the other note, i enjoyed watching their performance, it does not get old.
It’s very rare to win on music shows with only a digital single because they include album sales for points.
2PM may have won on tv but the truth is 2NE1 had the #1 song on Gaon and Instiz’s weekly charts which combines all the digital sales. I wouldn’t call that a failure. -_-
Finally! I was wondering when they’d zoom in on her “OMG”. Yeah i’m sorta bummed that they didn’t win. We’ll just have to wait for the album I guess.
The thing is, it would be a bit hard-ish for our girls to win since their physical album has not been released yet. Album sales count in the point system in music shows, and as the other groups’ albums are out and 2ne1’s score for that particular criteria is 0, then yes, it may be quite difficult for them to win. ^_^ But don’t worry, their album would be out on the 21st already. ^_^

YG’s strategy didn’t fail. It’s not about winning on music shows for them. They’re focusing more on being able to profit and highlight more individual songs from their album.
Winning on music shows is more important for rookies because it gives the image that they’re popular which attracts CF deals. 2NE1 has already proven their popularity many times and they manage to attract CFs so winning isn’t that big of a deal anymore.
