Nikon Imaging Korea‘s 2011 annual campaign, entitled “A Shot A Day” has started with its first TV CF for the new Coolpix P300 model, revealing a “red carpet” concept.
Nikon Coolpix P300’s main model is 2NE1’s Sandara Park, and in fact, it is known as “Sandara Digital Camera.”
The camera has a bright lens of f1.8, bigger than that of most Nikon compact camera models, which means that it has enough light (A/N: I think it means flash), that allows one to still get vivid, high quality photos even at night or while shooting moving objects. Its video recording abilities also allow full high-definition video recording and panorama mode support.
The first TV CF shows a red carpet entry during an Awards night, where the 2NE1 members attend to. Sandara Park then takes pictures of the other members using her Coolpix P300, and admiring the bright and beautiful pictures, while giving the airy look of a satisfied ambassador.
Nikon Imaging Korea’s marketing director, Kim Dong Wook said, “The Coolpix P300 is a mix of classical and contemporary style, equipped with excellent capabilities, that strive to meet the tastes of the young consumers,” he also revealed, “Because of its luxurious and exceptional style, the Nikon Coolpix P300, has 2NE1 for its model, and the benefits of the partnership is expected to be good.”

I`d like to send an open letter to the marketing person who orchestrated this bonanza.
1. Sandara Park is a very effective endorser of your product no need to elaborate on that in addition to being popular in SE Asia and China so marketing in these countries will not be a problem.
2. But I think there is a lack of communication between your people and YG`s. The colors of Dara`s clothes are very muted. Was this a last minute decision to make a cf at the launching party because they had an event later that night too. Dara`s overall look was much brighter and colourful for Etude. Here you are selling a camera that takes bright pictures – you have to showcase that don`t you think?
3. I hope you did not spend all of your budget by hiring the entire YG family so that you can take maybe monthly or bimonthly pictures of Dara and share it with us. My beef with this is why hire the family (if it is cheaper to hire one) and then use her primarily anyway and disregard the rest. Did she come in a package deal? Take one take all? YG seems to be using Dara`s popularity to market the rest. Good job YG, and I hope that Dara gets the majority of that deal because it seems she will be doing most of the work anyway.

Actually, all the girls are endorsing different camera models, it just so happens that Dara is endorsing a totally new model, that’s why they’re promoting it first. I’m sure the other girls would have their own ads too, though I’m not so sure about a Nikon solo CF. They will have their time. Besides, I very much doubt that the Dara considers herself to be “doing most of the work” because I’m sure she’s having fun doing this with the girls.
Although this site is for Dara, we do encourage 2ne1 love and we don’t want to promote any misunderstandings between the other 2NE1 members’ fans. I do hope you understand. ❤

^^ kinda disagree with 2 and 3..i think the cf scene is different from the launching event, CL has a different hairstyle and i think there’s no red carpet with fans surrounded just like this cf. I guess, the management just wanted to use the same clothes.
