Amidst all the devastation and chaos, many fans were worried about how Dara, Bom, Minzy and CL were doing in Japan. Thankfully, Dara was kind enough to ease our worried hearts by updating her me2day and telling all of us that they were fine. Although she didn’t update us with a picture, she updated her me2day with:
미투되나… ㅠㅠ 우리는 괜찬아요
Translation: “My me2day… ㅠㅠ We’re fine!”
Thank you so much Dara for informing us about your current situation. We know that you are aware that many are worried about 2ne1’s current situation in Japan and thank you for being thoughtful enough to ease our hearts. This is just one of the many reasons why we truly love you.
With that being said, let us all pray not just for Dara, Bom, Minzy and CL but for all those who were and are still affected.
On a lighter note, HANEDA AIRPORT HAS NOW RESUMED OPERATIONS. LET US HOPE THAT 2NE1 WILL BE ABLE TO RETURN TO KOREA SAFELY AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
UPDATE: Minzy tweeted earlier and she recounted what they experienced during the earthquake. Minzy said that the earthquake felt like a rollercoaster and that it was shaking so bad for around 5 minutes. They were scrambling and they ran down the stairs. Their hands and legs were shaking really bad. After that, there were still successive earthquakes but not as bad as the first. In fact, Minzy still feels terrible and still feels shock whenever she thinks about it. She is praying really hard but to not worry because they are all safe and are now back in their rooms. They still don’t know when they will be able to get back to Korea given the current situation in Japan.
Minzy recounting her experience honestly made me tear up a little. I know we are are praying not just Dara and 2ne1’s safety but for the others as well. We hope for the best and we wish that they will be able to return to Korea safely soon.
UPDATE: Bom also updated her me2day.

There are news that they will be returning in Korea by tonight… just checked ygunited.com and allkpop.com….. Hope they return safely..
I hope they are safely in Korea by now and that the YG management is going to let the girls have the week off to be with their families.
We all know that japan would recover fast,they have great establishments and buildings and that the 5th largest earthquake in the world history even failed to tremble a building there yesterday..nevertheless,lets pray for japan.

poor Minzy. I hope these events won’t cause any traumas on them. But I’m really glad that everyone’s safe. And thanks Dara for updating and getting our worried away. Thanks Lord too for hearing our prayers. I’m hoping that they can go back in South Korea as fast as they can.

My tita live in kanagawa ken she told me that they are affected by the earth quake but not the tsunami,and maybe the reason why you can’t contact your mom is because the phone connection in JAPAN is affected by the earth quake.But don’t worry because they still have internet. God bless your Mom.

hello. Kanagaw ken is only affected of the earhquake but not tsunami. Hope you can contact your mother soon. I already contacted my father last night from Aichi ken. My brother is in saitama, tokyo which is near kanagawa which is affected too but both are safe. I can’t contact my brother last night but my father did contact him. The phones are out. God answers and hears prayers. I know it will goes to you too. Keep the faith. I wish all the best to your family as well.
