2NE1 member Sandara Park is expected to be widen her perspectives beyond being a live performer.
Sandara is one of the members of girl group, 2NE1, who debuted last year. But she wasn’t originally planned to debut as a team member of 2NE1, only because of hard work and determination was she able to join in as a singer. However due to her pretty visage and charming personality, Dara herself has become explosively popular, even attracting several movie offers. Sandara Park only appeared on one drama, the 2009 MBC Drama “The Return of IlJimae” in a cameo role.
One official from the movie industry has said that, “Sandara Park has already acted back in the Philippines, but was cut when she came here to Korea, and we would love her to continue acting again. It doesn’t mean though that she has to stop as a singer and performer. We would just like to see her widen her expertise.”
“A few scripts have been given to her, along with some thoughts on the actors to star opposite her, but nothing is confirmed yet. We would like to see her act, and hope that her company allows her to,” he finished.

Her last movie that i saw in the Phillipines is Super Noypi.. and boy, she is hella funny! Though i would be worried if she does act because she works really long hours doing practices, album making, cf and many more. For sure YG will let her in the future., she loves Dara and only wants the best for her and the girls. I can’t wait to see her in Dramas and movies as well. I’d like to see her in a Romantic Comedy like SHK did.

Thanks joyce, it’s so nice of Quark to say good things about Dara, i never knew they became good friends after doing that movie. I specifically watch that because of JenMark but seeing Dara there, I feel she really stood out in the movie, i really had fun watching it and she is great in that movie, i really LOLed at her funny antics there. She really done a good job in that movie =)

i think YG is really considering letting her act again but he is probably just choosing the right project. This will serve as her movie debut in Korea so ofcourse it has to be good coz this will make or break her in field of acting/movies.
I think Movie calls aren’t bad since it’s like a one-shot if not sequel-led with another, or may depend on its rating and feedback from the viewers. who knows…
But YG fears something more isn’t it?

I think with all the news of her being offered of movie projects, there’s a big possibility that she will be in a movie soon. YG must have something to do with these news, maybe they are testing the waters on how the fans would react to these news. Now, I won’t be surprised anymore if one of these days we will see Dara’s fantaken pictures in a movie set.
i think YG will allow her to ACT for example T.O.P, V.I of bigbang YG allowed them to act!
