Popular idol group, Big Bang’s TaeYang (born Dong Young-Bae) said that he envies the members of fellow YG idol group, 2NE1!

TaeYang said, “Each member of 2NE1 is uniquely talented, which is enviable.”

Big Bang, which is a member of YG Entertainment, introduced their juniors, girl group 2NE1, with the CF and MV for Cyon’s Lollipop phone. In an interview with “Sol,” for his song, “Wedding Dress,” he mentioned each of the 2NE1 members and praised each for their talents.

“I envy Park Bom and her unique and outstanding voice,” he said, “Especially in their song, I Don’t Care, her voice is distinct and unique, and the chorus part which she sang is really good. Park Bom’s voice is popular even before her debut with the group, and her voice here lends a youthful tone to the song.”

After Park Bom, the group’s leader, CL, and the group’s maknae, Minzy were also praised, saying, “CL’s rap skills, plus Minzy’s dancing skills makes a song have sensual power.”

“For live performances, I find that Park Sandara is funny and always has the best expressions,” he says of Dara, one of the group’s vocalists, “I get worried because she practices all night, but her hard work is worth it, because Dara’s expression on-stage, are the most wonderful.”

This year, TaeYang with the rest of Big Bang has been going back and forth from South Korea and Japan. Earlier this month, the group released their third Japanese single, “Let Me Hear Your Voice,” which topped the Oricon Daily Charts on the day of its release.

He later told about how he gets recognized in Japan already, “A lot of people in Japan recognize me when I walk down the streets. And always wearing my caps makes me more recognizable, I guess. We always have fun broadcasting in Japan. But because we are recognized already, we can’t go out as often as before. It has pros and cons really.”

Big Bang would be moving between the two countries to participate in award ceremonies. On the 21st, TaeYang and Big Bang leader, G-Dragon would participate in Mnet Asian Musc Awards, or MAMA, and 26 days later, would fly back to Japan for Nihon TV’s Best Hits Song Festival.

On Nov 15, an online site ‘Philstar.com’ has wrote a topic about how the Korean songs has invaded the Philippines by giving 8 Korean singers name that are popular among the Filipino.

”Youtube, Korean Cable TV and music download service have made the Filipino has an easy access to their favorite Korean singers / group. There are 8 singers (groups) that’s already familiar among the Filipino, and they are : BoA, 2NE1, Bi, Wonder Girls, SS501, Super Junior, SHINee, and SNSD.”

Lee Hyori, the big sister to Sandara Park and UEE on Family Outing

On the episode of SBS Family Outing aired on the 15th, the ‘big unnie’ side of diva Lee Hyori shows amongst guest appearances 2NE1 Sandara Park and After School UEE.

From the opening of the show, Lee Hyori has tried to fit in with the image of the young girls (Sandara Park and UEE) by dressing and looking young, which has caused laughters even at the beginning of the show.

Also Hyori tried to point accusations to Sandara Park and UEE, who are not only receiving much attention from the male guest appearances but also from the male staff around, and has racked up several funny episodes on the show.

But still, Hyori hails as the ‘big unnie’ amongst them. Hyori asked Sandara Park about her weight and Sandara Park answered, “40kg.”

Guess what happen next.

With that Sandara Park said,

“The reason why I am short is because of Lee Hyori. When I was in my teens, I really like Lee Hyori, and I came to Korea from the Philippines carrying melon. I saw Hyori unnie looking really cool and eating melons on TV, and I wanted to give them to her.”

She continued,

“So coincidentally I got to know Hyori unnie’s address from other fans and waited in front of the house. And in the end, I passed the melons to her mother and asked her to give them to her, and I went home.”

With that, Hyori seems touched and said,

“So in the end, you did not see me and just went off?” and she added, “Kids like these are kind” which caused another round of laughters during the filming.

She then said to Sandara Park,

“Dara ya, from now, kids are these will come to you” encouraging her junior.

Girlgroup, 2ne1‘s Sandara Park posted pictures of herself in her me2day with a fall concept, making Korean netizens call her a “fall goddess.”

Dara, who was walking the streets of Seoul with its falling brown leaves all ready for fall, looked beautiful with her creamy skin and wavy hair.

Dara Park’s activities include those with her girl group, 2NE1, an ad for Cass beer, and a solo single, Kiss. There have also been rumors of a concert, but none have been confirmed.
