… Who’s the Fairest Kpop Female of Them All?

A select group of Korea’s top plastic surgeons was recently gathered together and interviewed by tvN. Topic of choice? They were asked to rate kpop’s finest females and determine who among them is the most beautiful.

To determine this, surgeons utilized a specific 10 point rating system: 10 points for the overall image, another 10 points for their facial features, and a final 10 points for their figures. That’s a grand total of 30 points for beauty! Let’s go through the list, shall we?

Kicking things off for us is 4Minute’s poppin’ queen HyunA with a measly 8 points. Ouch! With only ten points more, SNSD’s Tiffany is up next. Kara’s Nicole and After School’s JooYeon both garnered 19 points. SNSD’s Yoona fared much better in comparison to Tiffany, scoring 22 points along with T-ara’s Jiyeon.  Second place belongs to 2NE1’s selca master, Sandara Park, who scored 23 points.

Dara: You got that right! =)

Lee: Dara-ah! You’re my number 1! =D

So who is the most beautiful kpop female according to these surgeons’ standards? With a grand total of 25 points, it’s none other than the Wonder Girls‘ leader, SunYe!

News: Idol Star that looks best in ‘Hanbok’

During their recent interview with StarNews, group 2NE1 reveals something which many fans have been curious about – their ideal type of guy!

[An abstract from the interview]

Q: Currently 2NE1 members have no boyfriends, there are many fans who are curious about your ideal type of guys.

• Park Bom: I’d like someone who can only loves me. I don’t really look at the looks.
• CL: Teddy oppa’s style, who is like my real oppa, is my ideal type. I like someone who is caring, works hard at what he is doing and is a good listener.
• Sandara Park: The style I like are like celebrities WonBin and Kang DongWon. The toughness within the soft image.
• Gong MinJi: I like someone who has a pretty smile, is caring and sincere.

News: Sandara Park’s Distinctive “Palm-Tree” Hairstyle is a hit

Excerpts from the article: 2009 Girl Group Fashion Is A Hit

Girl groups have explored a lot in the hair business this year, with their vast variety of hairstyles that they have sported in the public. The first half of the year, showed the hot influence of Girls’ Generation and their jolly and cheerful image portrayed by their marine looks.

The Brown –Eyed Girls also gained influence with their transformation showed through their short bob haircuts, making them look more attractive to more mature audiences.

But none of them showed a more distinct hairstyle other than Sandara Park, with her highly attractive and attention-getting palm-tree hairstyle, which she debuted on the “Lollipop” MV with seniors, Big Bang, and throughout their “Fire” promotions. Not only that, but she also popularized the apple hairstyle, which many people copied.

Editor Park: The best rookie for me this year would be 2NE1. At first, when they were called the “Female Big Bang,” I was skeptical that YG would market them to ride in Big Bang’s existing popularity. But then, they debuted with “Fire” and they had a really good song. Not to mention that their fashion is also good, and their dancing is not bad. They are really addictive, and they possess that certain something that other groups lack.
