News: Sandara Park of 2NE1 has entered the screen-protagonist-role-debut countdown

Sandara Park has already made a surprise appearance in MBC’s “Return of Iljimae” last year. She showed a completely different side of her playing the role of a ninja’s daughter Riero (sp?) saving Iljimae (played by Jung Il Woo)’s life.

It has been found out Sandara is getting many lovecalls from Choongmooro. She got a request to be the protagonist role in the Korean version of “Step Up”. A staff said, “We’ve sent the scenario to Sandara. We thought she was the perfect cast for this project since she can sing and dance and has already tried acting in movies and dramas of Philippines and Korea.”

Staff of YG Entertainment, which Sandara is part of, said “Sandara got lovecalls from not just that movie, but a few other dramas and movies asking her to play the protagonist role. She’s been an actress already in the Philippines and has also constantly been getting acting lessons as a member of 2NE1. From now on, the fans might be able to see her in movies and dramas, not just on stages performing as 2NE1.”

News: Dara’s Kiss MV Gets 4 Million Hits on Youku

Dara’s KISS MV had received (and is still receiving) much attention (and love) from Chinese fans/netizens.   Two videos of the KISS MV, both uploaded to the Chinese Youtube, Youku, 4 months ago by two different uploaders, had gotten, so far, 4 million and 2 million hits… and still counting.

Aside from the said videos, there are around 100+ videos of the KISS MV and other related videos (i.e. 30-second Cass CF, BTS and others) uploaded to Youku.  Chinese fans and netizens had been praising Dara’s Kiss MV.  The song and the music video totally never get old, and Dara and Lee Min Ho are simply amazing in this awesometastic MV.

News: Girl Group Members Pain Revealed

You guys have no idea how much I hesitated posting this.

So, this article basically talks about SunMi, of Wonder Girls, who, as you all know, would be leaving the group. The article goes on to disgress about the pains and sufferings that these groups have to go through.

News: Dara says “I’m A Fresh Girl” Fans Agree

The four-member girl group, 2NE1‘s beautiful member, Sandara Park posted an exciting picture for fans.

On January 22, Sandara Park released a picture through her me2day account. Released along with her post was a picture of Dara looking cute and funny at the same time. Unlike previous photos however, netizens drew attention to her dark eye make up, which is full of swagger, and her mature appearance.

The photo appeared with the words “I’m a fresh girl!” to which fans and netizens agree.

2NE1 is currently working on their full album. They will appear with male idol group, and fellow YG Entertainment production company, Big Bang, for their three-day concert.

[NEWS] Dara Doesn’t Think that her Selcas are Bizarre

Idol group 2NE1 member, Sandara Park, says that she doesn’t think anything is wrong with updating with bizarre pictures.

Dara sent a message through UFO Radio saying that “My bizarre pictures and messages are for the fans, it’s my way of communicating with them. I just feel that showing a picture is more effective at showing them a chapter of what I’m doing.”

“I do not agree with some people calling my selcas bizarrre,” she continued, especially since she claims that her photos are filled with art and soul, and not just bizarreness.

[NEWS] Sandara Park’s “Kiss” MV To Be Edited Due To Consumer Complaints

Consumers and audiences seem to think that Sandara Park’s “Kiss” MV is too risque for general audiences.

Cable Channel, ETN‘s Music Box has issued an apology to its viewers and has modified the “Kiss” MV. Girl group, 2NE1 member, Sandara Park‘s solo single, “Kiss” and its Music Video has been said to be causing quite a stir for viewers of the music channel. Because of its repetitive scenes showing drinking and gambling involving teenagers, the channel was forced to do some editing and adding a warning against drinking towards the end.
