YG-Life: YG Family Concert Goes Global with BigBang, PSY, 2NE1 and Winner

[TV리포트=김예나 기자] YG Family concert, a concert of YG artists including BIGBANG, PSY, 2NE1, EPIK HIGH, LEEHI and WINNER, is going global for the first time in 2 years.

On Jan 17, YG Entertainment announced it will be holding YG FAMILY-2014 WORLD TOUR that goes around the world including South Korea, Japan and China. This is a first one in 2 years since the 2011-2012 15th Anniversary Korea-Japan YG Family Concert.

The concert is set to kick off on April 12 and 13 at Japan Osaka’s Kyocera Dome, and May 3 and 4 at the Tokyo Dome, and will be expanding to the world. 200,000 Korean and Japanese fans joined the artists in the last concert, but this year, sensational 210,000 fans will come see the artist just in Japan.

PSY, the mega-hit star with ‘Gangnam Style’ and ‘Gentleman’ will deliver performances, along with global artists BIGBANG, and 2NE1, the first girl group to have their 2nd World Tour.

Apart from these artists, EPIK HIGH and WINNER will be delivering dynamic performances as part of the YG Family. Further detail on the regions and venues will be announced later.

YG-Life: Dara and Minzy Turn Into Aliens with Bling-Bling Makeup and Colorful Wigs

[마이데일리 = 전원 기자] 2NE1’s teaser images of members for their 2nd World Tour ‘AON (ALL OR NOTHING)’ were revealed.

The images of DARA and MINZY were posted on YG’s official blog on Jan 17.

With the space image in the background, DARA catches attention with fancy makeup and accessories. It’s a whole new DARA, with an ambience of fantasy.

 MINZY, with a similar background image, attracts attention with her dynamic eye makeup and fashionable nails. It’s a whole new MINZY as well, with her emerald color wig. MINZY, usually known for her short hair, aroused enthusiastic reactions from the fans with long hair.

2NE1, apart from South Korea, will visit 9 countries including Japan and China across 13 cities (Seoul, Hong Kong, Singapore, Yokohama) for 17 concerts of World Tour. The Tour is set to kick off on March 1 and 2 at Seoul Songpagu Bangidong Olympic Park SK Handball Arena.

Fans will be able to enjoy the dynamic live performances based on their solid knowhows, and the concert is arousing even more attention as world-renown directors Travis Payne and Stacy Walker will once again join the quartet.

YG-Life: Dara Stands Out with Her Hot-Pink Furry Hat

[파이낸셜뉴스 스타엔 임혜빈 기자] 2NE1’s DARA was captured attending a VIP premier event of the new animation movie Nut Job: The Peanut Thieves at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University on Jan 17, located in Seoul Gwangjingu Jayangdong.

The movie is a Korean-made animation film, involving many renowned film-related personnel, which is about a mischievous squirrel who plans a grand peanut-stealing project with her friends. It will be released in the cinemas on Jan 29.
