Although Jung Il Woo thinks all of his fans are female, he says he only has one female friend. Who is she, and why doesn’t he have a love life?
He’s handsome and cute at the same time, but at 27 years of age, Jung Il Woo confessed to a Chinese interviewer that he has only one female friend. It was after he also admitted that his fans are probably 100% all female. The exclusive interview just took place at his fan meet in Beijing on February 1.
The one and only female friend is Sandara Park (Dara) of popular K-pop girl group 2NE1. Jung Il Woo said they have been friends for 6 years, ever since they worked on Return of Iljimae together. (Sandara played a Japanese girl who fell for him.) He stressed that they are just friends, and they would give each other advice.
He also said he is too busy start any romantic relationship before he enters military service. What? That actually means he won’t have a girlfriend until sometime AFTER the military service. I can’t even begin to count the number of years it’ll take before Jung Il Woo will finally have a girlfriend in real life. Depending on your point of view, that’s either good news or sad news.
The Chinese interviewer then asked Jung Il Woo to send a message to his “future sweetheart.”
It seems to be a strange request, but gentleman Jung Il Woo gave this nice message: “Hi, I’m a pretty nice person. I hope we can help each other and learn from each other. I’ll be very happy this way.”
He actually sounded like he’s talking to a good friend of his. Sometimes friendship blossoms into romance, but it takes good timing. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

I’m sorry guys, but I don’t like Dara for my Jung Il Woo as his real girlfriend, they can be good friends but as lovers? NO WAY! Please stop pushing him to date her. Not only is he a great actor, he is not afraid to acknowledge his friendship with Dara. That takes courage in the korean crazy netizen world. May their friendship last a lifetime. Not shipping but if she were to choose him I would celebrate!
Actually I would celebrate anyone that loves her unconditionally, willing to shout to the world of his love for her and lastly, she chooses that person.

I could not dig any dirt on this guy! He’s either really discreet and have minions to cover for him, or living a responsible lifestyle, handles his life issues wisely, and is an all-around good guy like he says. I know bad boys have their attraction but as matured intelligent women we should let the good guys win at the end. LMAO (Sounds like I’m “selling” him!) But like what my mama told me, “You better shop around…”
