Just a tip, the full cut of her radio show is already on youtube. The first part of it was uploaded by this user: https://twitter.com/Ellie_Belliee/status/471215369940893696

The second part is on Volume Up’s channel ^_^

On topic; she looks so cute and her, bommie, and h-eugene seemed to get along so well! She’s slowly getting over her nerves and I feel so proud that a timid girl like gets to do a 2 hour radio show. Fighting DJ Dara! ❤

Thank you for this! Actually I’m not sure if this is the right place to share this but I’ve been wondering why Welovedara has been so MIA lately (the admins here are the same ones who manage the twitter account right?). It takes too long for updates to come whenever something new comes up. It feels as if the site is too dependent on other people to tip them with news rather than the looking for recent news themselves. I’m sure all the admins are hardworking and I admire them for voluntarily dedicating their time to this job while dealing with matters in real life outside of fangirling. However, i think it would do everyone good if we hire more admins, preferably from different timezones just to catch up with news. Also, is it possible if we could hire a second active translator, especially now with Dara’s radio show ongoing. I saw some fans who wish to sub the entire show for the benefit of i-blackjacks, but no one would volunteer to trans for them. It would be wise to create a subbing team for Sandara, i mean even CL’s fansite has their own, I’m sure we could also organize our own. Royal Ace Subs can’t be relied on nowadays, they don’t even sub as of late. I’m also very positive that 2NE1 will soon embark on their solo activities, so forming a subbing team now will prepare us for Dara’s future activities. Apart from that, having hangul-proficient staff can also mean that they can read through nate pann or naver blog and comments, which some contain fanaccounts, anectodes, fan-arts or hilarious memes, or generally just seeing the admiration of knetz, which can be shared to i-fans. This might seem trivial, but seeing things from the perspective of korean netizens kinda gives us an idea of how they’re accepted within their homeland. For some, it furthur affirms their love for their idols and there are some things, like Dara’s kind gestures to fans, that they might know and we don’t.

Okay so this is everything I wished to say, I’m a longtime supporter of Dara, I’m only after her well-being just like you and I have been following this fansite ever since. I respect all of you and I commend you for being great admins and for the many projects you’ve organized for Dara and her group. As her fan, I can witness that more and more people learn to love her with each passing day, and I know how huge fansites play a part in keeping that love aflame. You’ve done so well, seeing how much more followers you have compared to the other members’ fansites hehe. But I do not wish to stop at that, I hope we can continue to improve and to continue to strengthen the bond of our fellow Dara lovers. Thank you and have a good day! 😀

Sounds good but seems no one is up to the task. I’m just a reader of this blog and notice some changes too. Despite Dara’s ongoing popularity her own fan site is losing steam. Are the admins dependent on their readership support to do the things you say? I don’t know. But it’s not the same as it use to. There were translators in the past isn’t and a very active admins. They move on with their lives. I think we need a new generations of dedicated people

I’m certain out of WLD’s 69k followers, there’s a number of them who are ready to volunteer. But the thing is, they need to be encouraged. They have to feel that their help is needed and this can be achieved if WLD goes on a campaign to hire new admins/translator, etc. I mean when Dara went on radio, it’s such a pleasant surprise 3 twitter users whom I have never pegged as someone who can translate hangul randomly popped out and willingly did live translation for Volume Up.

I agree with you that it’s not the same as in the past. It looks like they struggle with the amount of updates, and come to think of it, there’s not as much schedule compared to other idols yet they can keep up. I’ll give you a recent example: today when billboard’s interview was released, I first learned about it through CL’s fansite. I was wondering when WLD was going to report about it, and it came out 6 hours later. This is not to compare or to make it seem like a competition. For me it doesn’t matter who finds out the news first, but what’s bothering me is that it didn’t take 5 or 30 mins for the delay, but 6 whole hours. This isn’t the first time it happened too. Other times there are recent news/update about Dara and the fansite takes too long to mention it that the hype dies out. It’s kind of disappointing to see as a fan. Sometimes i even take it to myself to try help them with the news by mentioning their twitter about it, but they seem to never notice.

Yes to the new generations of dedicated people. It doesn’t mean that we want the current admins replaced. It’s just apt to hire more for the purpose of more efficient updating. The admins might be apprehensive to hire more because it entails trust and you know how people are nowadays.. but I think careful selection will do the trick. It will be obvious if the person is a true Dara fan or not just by looking at that person’s profile, who he/she is following, if he/she has history of misconduct etc. I hope you hear us out.

I’m sure they will hear you out. I’m guessing they need help as well. I definitely don’t know the details of things to be done. But you sure are. I appreciate a daraling who is still concern for Dara and her fellow fans. I once took a step to suggest financial support for a dara magazine that never materialize due to copyright issue. But my interest on that project was legitimate because it would make people aware of Dara especially those outside her fandom. I was a bit disappointed it didn’t push through. But I can see the same concern and passion you have here. I’m sure this admin might have the same feeling and it does take amount of trust to get people in. I do see a lot of new daralings popping up in twitter especially after their recent concert. Young ones. These are the same type of people that spawned fan sites like this in the beggining and created legion of fanfic writers, translators and what have you. Some of these people now can be of great help if we could bridge them in. Even the old ones who may not have the chance to be involved before. Somehow we could jump start everything again for our love of dara

Hello! I’m BlackjackBelle from OhDara and WeLoveDara. First off, I am very sorry if we can’t reply to you on Twitter, I hope it doesn’t discourage you from mentioning us. T_T We are thinking of hiring more admins, as there are only a couple of us working actively on the site and on Twitter right now. Most of the admins are on hiatus because of real life concerns, work, and other stuff. We are aware that we need to hire more people, and we ARE looking into it. Please give us time. Would you and Loki consider applying as updaters if ever? ^_^

I apologize, and I’m taking this personally (don’t feel bad, it’s just my personality kekekeke and OD/WLD is kinda my baby as of now that Primary Admin is drowning in real life stuff, I’m sorry if I’m like a harried omma not taking good care of her baby. Mianhe baby.. T_T), for not keeping up. I assure you that we aren’t, personally I’m not, slacking off, nor has our love for Dara lessened. I’m sorry if you guys think that we are losing steam, we shall do our best to keep up and make OD and WLD more updated. ^_^

I’m sorry Belle, if I have offended you in some way. It’s nowhere near my intention. I know how much effort you dedicate for this fansite, and I along with all its followers can see that. We love you because you are a good model for Dara fans, we see how much you love just not her, but the rest of the girls, you do not in any way condone the other members, you remain kind as you are despite the misconception that dara fans are the worst fandom and such, and especially because you hear us out. I indeed noticed the improvement just this past 24 hours with Dara’s 3rd day of DJ’ing and it really warms my heart to know that you take into consideration the things that your readers say. I also don’t believe that you’re slacking off, just that this is too difficult of a job to be managed by too few people. I don’t blame you for not seeing my mentions bc i know that your interactions on twitter is a busy place, it’s just my lame attempt to help from the sidelines haha. Nonetheless, I would continue to help you guys. Not sure if I am an eligible candidate for updaters, but I would like to try. Again I would like to apologize and at the same time, thank you for all that you’ve done. I could never match up to all the sacrifices the admins have given for the sake of the rest of the fandom ❤

Hello Blue Lagoon! ❤ It's okay! I am not offended at all, in fact, I saw this as a challenge to work harder.. We know that we cannot just leave everything behind to update (though there are times I am so so so tempted to do just that), but I would like to assure you that we will try our best. Personally, I will try. Work has been difficult, LOL, but it's not an excuse. XD Anyway, thank you so much for your appreciation. The kind words mean a lot, and they help fuel my desire to give it my all. XD Yes, we do listen to what you have to say, we read comments (most of the time, sometimes we can't thought T_T) and we appreciate everyone who leaves them.. ❤ And about sacrifices, I don't think any one of us is required to give that, just as long as we love Dara and we still love what we do, then we shall continue.. ^_^
