Philippine President Benigno Aquino III visited South Korea and was welcomed and greeted by South Korean President Park Geun-hye. They had a meeting followed by a SK-PH Presidential Banquet hosted by Dara.
During the meeting, it was mentioned that Korean Drama as well as K-Pop was popular in the Philippines. Furthermore, the Presidential Dinner was attended by various CEOs of different Korean companies.

The etiquette of a State Dinner. Just to get an invitation is really a big deal, mind you. Much thought always goes to the guests list. The diplomacy. The political lobbying. The juxtaposing for position. Yeah, even where one is seated is big deal. The subtlety of it all. Plus, it’s recorded history. History, mind you again. No, not just anybody who is somebody is invited to a state dinner. Now, that is how big deal this is. But no-we are not bragging about it. What right have we? The one invited is not even bragging about it. Maybe that’s just how she is. 🙂
