Love Dara and a huge fan, but getting tired of her advertising she is single. She has so many fanboys wanting to date her. Beautiful girl so I don’t think it will be a problem for her getting a boyfriend. Sounds like a desperate call for help from a lonely girl with with self esteem issues. No haters please, just stating my opinion.
I beg to disagree… Yes, she has many fanboys but are they for real?…. Do they have the guts to get to know the real Dara and accept what she really is? I really hope and wish that some of them are brave enough to approach her, but looking at her status and situation and adding up their culture, it is a different story. She is like that coz she is a person who is known to speak her mind, whenever she feels emo, happy, lonely, etc., she will gladly share it to her fans who loves her dearly and accept her whatever flaw she may have. One of the reason why i love Dara is because she is HUMAN. Expresses her mind to her fans through social media even though she knows that sometimes she might get in trouble but that is DARA.
It would be naive to believe that Dara’s not dating at all. Like you said, she has guys lining up for her as evidenced in the Strong Heart YG Family Special. But to think that it’s a desperate call for help? I personally don’t think so.
As you know, Kpop idols have to maintain their image of being single for their fans. It’s a necessary evil if they want to survive in the harsh business. I admit, maybe Dara is overdoing it a little and it would be better if she just not talk about it but she probably has her own reasons about why she needs to reiterate her single status. I just hope it doesn’t come back to haunt her in the future.
I actually agree with you. I really like Dara a lot, she looks beautiful and seems to be such a down to earth person. But what I don’t get is why does she have to stress how she is single and wants a bf so much?! I get that Dara is a very humble person and that she likes to share her feelings with her fans but sometime its a little too much. Dara’s topic of her lack of love and wanting to date has been talked about since their debut. When I read about 2NE1 in interviews the first thing that comes to mind when each members are mention I think of the following: CL -fashion Bom -music Minzy -dance Dara -lack of love life… I really want Dara to be more about music and less about her wanting a boy. I get that she has a life outside of entertainment but right now I want her to be remember because of her talent and not for her constant talk about lack of boys and love. She is so much more than that.
