Luis Manzano, also known as Lucky, is a Filipino actor, TV host, VJ and model. He was the host of ABC-CBN’s “Star Circle Quest” in which Dara was a contestant while she was still in the Philippines. Dara won 2nd place in this show and went on to be a Philippine actress, host and singer. You could say that it was through “Star Circle Quest” that Dara became a big celebrity in the Philippines. Because of SCQ, Dara and Luis developed a friendship which lasts until this very day.

POKWANG (@pokwang27)

Pokwang is a Filipina comedienne, actress, TV host, singer, impersonator and salon co-owner. She played Dara’s mother in the Philippine movie “D’Lucky Ones!” when Dara was still an actress in the Philippines. When Dara tweeted Pokwang, she said that “This is Luckygirl!” because Luckygirl was her character in the movie they both starred in.

MELISSA RICKS (@mellyricks09)

Melissa Ricks is a Filipina actress. She was a runner-up in the reality talent search “Star Circle Quest” of ABS-CBN in which Dara was also in. Through this reality search program, they both became best friends. Melissa is Dara’s celebrity best friend and vice versa.
