It must be noted that Oricon “NINKI” or “Popular” rankings are NOT the official sales ranking of the singles. These ratings/rankings are a result of a poll conducted by Oricon indicating interest in an artist’s upcoming single release. The rankings are not a true prediction or reflection of how a single will do once it is released in the market. However, it does show a strong prediction of how a single or album will place in terms of popularity amongst the Japanese public. It is the “expected” ranking of a soon-to-be released single or album. This at least shows us that there is a great deal of interest towards 2NE1’s first album in Japan.

popularity ranking ^^ 2ne1 is popular in Japan even before they debut so it’s no wonder. I remember when 2ne1 hadn’t debuted in S.Korea, they are very popular…now it happens again in Japan ^^
