The earthquake in Japan has sent everyone into a panic, especially worrying for girl group 2NE1, who was supposed to debut in their first stage today.
On the 11th, YG President, Yang Hyun-Suk revealed on Star news, “2NE1 was supposed to appear in Asahi TV “Music Station.” But the broadcast was canceled due to the earthquake in Japan.
Originally, 2NE1 was supposed to appear on Asahi TV tonight to perform their hit, “Go Away” in front of the local fans, and showcasing the Japanese version of the song for the first time.
The 2NE1 members are all currently in a safe and sound place. An agency representative said, “The state of local broadcasting and communication is very poor right now, so communication with YG Japan is not very smooth,” he said, “We’ve scheduled for the girls to return back home on the 12th.”

I said in the past that when 2ne1 comes back, there’s like a tsunami as well. But honestly these words struck me when I heard the news about the earthquake and tsunami. I was worried and scared for them but knowing that they’re 2ne1, I know they’ll be safe no matter what, physically they’re okay and I hope emotionally as well.
When I first heard of the earthquake in Japan my first thought was Oh No 2NE1 is in Japan. so glad to hear they are safe.

Hi, everyone! Thank God, our dear 2ne1 girls are safe. I was really worried for them when i heard the news about Japan. And, yes their japanese debut can wait. What matters most now is that they come home to korea safe. Guys, let’s pray also for the Japanese people who were affected by the quake.
